I recently changed banks. As such, I need to change my automatic payment from one checking account to another. We reserved a jumper for my daughter's birthday 3 weeks before the day. It was to arrive by 1pm. It did not arrive until 3:30. After calling to inquire why it was running late, I was told that there were a many jumpers orders that day. No apologies, but we were told that we would be able to stay with the jumper for a longer period of time, and that our house would be the last pick up. I have taken a Corporate Invidual connection (AES249)during May'06 thro' Airtel agency M/s Mardha telecom, Bangalore by Mr.Saleem & Mr.Asgar. They informed me that there will not be any activiation charges for national roaming (Rs.49). Also they claimed that during national roaming (NR) the incoming call charges will be Rs.1.99 & STD to mobile will be Rs.2.40 & To landline will be Rs.6.00. Motorola - Sliver Phone
I purchased a sliver phone in May of 2006. The reason for my choice was because I wanted the service of a phone with the music feature. My service provider network is Cellular. The Sliver worked fine for about two months until I downloaded a CD from my computer onto the sliver. Then the music no longer worked. My Cell was lost 5 days back when I blocked it at customer care (*333). As advised the day after (9/11/2006) i visited the Web Word at Forum, Bangalore (at 7:50PM). Where i was told that the number cannot be transferred at their outlet and asked me to visit MG Road Web Word. (May be the person in charge wanted to leave early although 8:30 is the closing time!!)

On the 31st July, 2006, I purchased a new contract with a company called ‘CELLUCITY’ at Century City Shopping Mall, Cape Town, for a cellular phone a NOKIA 6280. The cell phone was connected on the 2nd August and on the 3rd August I noticed a big leaf shaped shadow on the screen. I emailed [email protected] 6 months ago to cancel my account. They kept billing me. I emailed them again 3 months ago and they kept billing me. I called, told them I want to cancel, they hung up on me. I called again and was put on hold for 49 minutes.
They refuse to refund me or cancel my account.
The service is absolutely bottom of the barrel, the phone calls are full of static and delays. This is why I tried to cancel in the first place. I warn everyone to stay away from this company!

Explore USA
This is a petty amount, but it is still fraud and needs to be reported. Explore USA took, without authorization, $1.00 from my bank account. This account was empty at the time, resulting in an overdraft. I have no idea how they got my bank account number. A few weeks later, a very nondescript envelope came. It looked like junk mail and was nearly torn up. Now it said I was a MEMBER of this Explore USA and they were going to charge my account $19.95 per month for something. Well, they can't! AOL / Chase Visa
I have had this account since 1997. I have always paid my bill on time and in JUN/JUL paid in full a statement for $8,000.00. Prior to Chase taking over AOL/Visa there has never been a problem. Last month I needed $20.00. It was a Saturday and my bank was closed. I called the Customer Service 800 number to make sure that with my pin I could use it at a Chase ATM without charges. After multiple attempts to disconnect Bulseye claims that if they don't have a disconnect work order number they will not discontinue my service with them. Despite me being the customer and telling them to discontinue service they refuse. My new VOIP provider has called them and still they refuse. Empire Today just started doing business in NC, and have started a huge t.v. ad campaign. My wife saw the commercials and we figured we'd give them a try. I called and set up an appointment and they sent someone at my earliest convenience. So far so good.

In June 2006, my Internet broadband service from Comcast in the Trenton, NJ, area was off and on for three weeks. Technicians at the national 800 number set up a service call from the local office, but this call resulted in only a temporary fix. Less than an hour after the technician left (all he did was diddle with wires at the pole), service was off again.

My husband and I purchased a furnace in January of 2006 from Sears. We got several estimates but being newly married with a seven month old baby, we were in a financial bind and believed that the no payments/no interest for one year would serve us best. First finances, we agreed upon a binding estimate of $6477.33, this included packing/unpacking of my mattresses shown on estimate at $281.76. Reviewing my BOL I was charged $6910.34 which included $221.21 added on for mattress packing and unpacking. My Master bedroom King was not even boxed and showed up with a large cut in it. Hi, I wanted to tell my story about "unlimited" long distance with ATT.
I am a medical transcriptionist working from home. I dial into a hospital in South Boston to transcribe their medical reports.

I called Verizon Fiber Optic Service to have Internet and TV installed in June 2006. On Oct. 16 2006 I woke up to find that I did not have Internet access. At 8 am I called Verizon's Tech Service and asked them why. After 20 minutes on hold I was told by one of their supervisors that my service had been canceled. I asked them why. As many times as I call on the telephone business companies about the business, that is how many times I get bum communications, i.e. the person on the other end of the telephone:
Sounds very faintly-extremely hard to understand. I hang up. No communication with the company I do business with. Will avoid such companies.

UPS
United Parcel Service is the very worst delivery service out there!. Twice they've lost my items, Do they call me, and let me know, NO. They must think the world revolves around them. I've lost business because of their very late deliveries. I ordered a package from N.Y., and was delivered by DHL in 2 days. If I were to use UPS, it would take 5-6 days to get here, and I wouldn't see it until around 6 pm. The funny thing is, they're UNION, and still they're half-ass!
Basically, if I had to choose between, the post office, and UPS, I'd go with the Post. Not only that, the Post is faster than UPS, and more respectful. read full review »

Package sent by DHL from Shenzhen, China to Winston Salem NC. Package signed for as delivered but was not sent to the right address. Talked to the delivery man and his supervisor and was told that the delivery man delivered it to 436 and not 426. He explained that he had someone who was walking by sign my wife's name to the receiving document and left the package on the doorstep.
