Do not do business with Jump 4 Joy in San Jose!
We reserved a jumper for my daughter's birthday 3 weeks before the day. It was to arrive by 1pm. It did not arrive until 3:30. After calling to inquire why it was running late, I was told that there were a many jumpers orders that day. No apologies, but we were told that we would be able to stay with the jumper for a longer period of time, and that our house would be the last pick up. Well, they didn't show up until almost 10:45 pm. When the workers did show up, one of them asked to use the bathroom, which I found to be very unprofessional. Later, I had to go outside into the front of the house, when I noticed the "jumper truck" coming down my street, and then leaving again, which I thought was very strange.

It doesn't stop there.

When I made my reservation, I put a down payment of $20. I informed the woman who I spoke to, that I would like the remainder of the $79 for my rental to be charged on my credit card. I told her to do this during the same phone conversation I had with her when the jumper was late. Unknown to me, when the jumper did come, the worker asked my husband for a check for the remainder of $79.00. He did not know that I had already made the payment. The company did not inform the driver that the jumper was paid for. This happened on 9/2/06--the day of the party.

One month later, when we found our cancelled check and credit card, we realized what had happened. Of course, no one at Jump 4 Joy let us know about the mix up. I called Jump 4 Joy immediately upon learning what had been done, and was given a bad atitude from the owner of the company. After I informed her that I had copies of my return check and my statement, she immediately put on the sweetness, and informed me that my credit card would be credited on that day. Again...no apology.

Almost a week later, I contacted the credit card, and the credit card was not credited. I called Jump 4 Joy, and was given a nasty message at my work place telling me that the credit was done, and that a copy would be sent to me for proof. A week later, I contacted the credit card company, and there was still no credit. I never did receive the copy of the credit that was supposively done by Jump 4 Joy either.

I called Jump 4 Joy yesterday, and inquired about the receipt to the credit that was promised in the mail. I was told about all the "extra paperwork piled on her desk" but no real excuse why it wasn't mailed. She then reassured me that she would post ANOTHER credit to my credit card that evening.

I don't know if this is the end of this credit card SAGA with Jump 4 Joy, but I will tell you that this is the last time I ever do business with such an unprofessional company such as this one. Who knows how many people they have over charged in all that paperwork that is piling on their desk.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JUMP 4 JOY IN SAN JOSE!!!!
