Ever since SBC merged and became AT&T, I haven't been able to access my home phone bill detail over the phone. A recording answers the call and then in a most helpful sounding voice offers to direct my call. This company withdrew $159 dollars from my account that I never authorized. I don't know how they got my bank account information. The check came out of my current bank account in Wisconsin, but the address on the check was my old address in Colorado. When I got in contact with them they said I'd have to file a police fraud report, which could take awhile, but when I told them I lived in Wisconsin where this sort of thing is illegal, they said they'd send a document I could request a return on. I have had nothing but trouble since i got service through comcast. On July 6th my service was connected, but they had to have a new cable installed from the pole to my house. I was told on that day that the cable would be buried in 10 business days. It was done on Dec 4. In November i wrote a complaint to the FCC, i was sent a copy of the letter that comcast responded with stating the cable was buried on Nov 13th. I went to book hotel rooms for a vacation. I marked that I wanted two rooms for two nights and clicked to get rates. Looking at the rates I went ahead and booked. Then when I got the itinerary I saw that I had 1 room for all 5 people! I went back to the original screen and it was clearly marked for 2 rooms for 5 people. In January of 07, I called Macy's to tell them of a tear in my new leather sofa (purchased in Feb 06) and to ask about how to contact Stainsafe. Stainsafe came out and stiched my sofa, but a week later it tore again. They came back out and said they'd have to replace the entire leather seat and back and replace with another piece of leather. On 5th Feb I gave them a notice to discontinue my long distant telephone services by email. They do not carry FAX and they are never handy on phone or they take maximum time to reach by phone!! I also informed VISA card company about stop payments. We have experienced ongoing intermittent cable connection with Charter Cable. The connection would be fine for a few hours and then go out for just a few minutes to several hours. Our first experience with this issue was in January. Charter gave us the standard reply to recycle our modem to "fix" the problem which did not fix the problem. My son purchased a camera and a laptop from Best Buy, at the time he was in uniform and told the sales person he was being deployed to Iraq. He stated I know something will happen and I want insurance to cover anything that could go wrong, he was sold the extended policy and told it would cover everything, he was then handed a small pamphlet that explained it all. We hired Fantastic Cleaning Professionals Inc. to clean our recently remodeled home April 4. they applied a cleaning chemical that permanently dulled and streaked our oak hardwood flooring. A flooring contractor came out to evaluate the damage and determined it was damaged by a cleaning product and needed to be be refinished. We were scheduled to move into the home that day and placed all our household goods in the garage while the flooring was being repaired. I joined the Biz Builder coop at Level 3 ($99 reg plus $99 a month membership fee). I ordered $4,000 of product any was told they would be delivered in 4-6 weeks. I waited, but no products. So I called and was told they still hadn't left China, and I needed to wait another month. Next month same thing. The only thing you can count on this company to do is take the monthly fee. Several months later, I never received the money, even until now which is 4/20/2007. I took them to court, no one showed up. I was in this store buying a whole new kitchen. Cabinets, counter tops, sink, and all the things you need for a brand new kitchen. Well some of the cabinets were at the top of the shelves and needed the forklift to get them. The employee in the kitchen dept knew this but just walked away.
