Each time, I pushed the number for the computer department. Each time, someone picked up the phone and then hung up. Four years ago we purchased a Samsung wide screen HD television from Sears in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Last year the color convergence went out making it impossible to adjust the color which had gone crazy. Since we purchased the TV from Sears, we called their Home Repair Center to have the problem repaired. After waiting a week for an appointment the technician arrived but didn't have the part to make the repair (even though they knew the problem before arriving and the part needed to fix it). I have a fairly new GE Profile refrigerator that I purchased at Sears last October, 2006. In the past week, the temperature of the refrigerator rose to 50 degrees. I called Sears home service repair and made an appointment for today from 8:00 a.m. until noon. I took off work in order to wait at home for the repairman. Two years ago I purchased a Kenmore canister vacuum cleaner and a 70-pint dehumidifier. I got lucky, the vacuum cleaner died within a few months and it was covered under warranty. However, the dehumidifier lasted two whole seasons (it doesn't even run all year). I took it in to the parts place and they want $120 to fix it. I won't give them the satisfaction of making money off their lousy products. I called the local store where I purchased them and told them my story and they said there is nothing they can do. My son had a contract with cingular - their service was horrible - either rude or would make promises not kept - bill was never the same - he spent hours on the phone trying to get things fixed - the store fronts would tell him one thing - customer service would say they had not authority - finally a phone rep told him to cancel his service if he was so unhappy - so he did. Now he is being harassed by a collection agency for $386.00. Thus far he has not returned their phone calls. The lady is rude when she leaves messages. This is uncharted waters for us. To Whom It May Concern: I've registered to verizon DSL internet connection on July9th and received Verizon DSL installation kit on July 12th. In the evening I tried to install it but not successful. I called customer support and nearly after 1hr finally I could be able to talk to someone. I was told to switch off modem, laptop and restart again, it didn't work, so advised to try after 12hrs. I understood the Insurance Commission was to assure the consumer that the insurance companies were in compliance with the state insurance regulations and that they would investigate any and all credible and valid complaints made by a consumer. Is this a correct understanding of their role? Do not use handango its a fraud! Sometimes you get the download sometimes you dont. If you dont get download to bad nobody in customer service will respond. Read the warning signs pay per call. Yeah right. There is no big corporation its owned by some clown sitting at home collecting your money. I wanted to convert my Reliance post paid billing connection to pre paid connection.When contacted personally the R webworld shop at Vashi on 19th July, (Thursday) they informed that it is done only on Wednesday or Sunday. It is a general practice to harass customer if he has come for post to pre paid connection. As my billing cycle is from 22nd to 21st of the month I wanted to do it before next billing cycle. i.e. before 22nd July. We have a Maytag refrigerator that is only two years old; it is under warranty so Maytag sent A&E Factory Service to fix it. On 22 June the technician determined there was a Freon leak, refill the line and told me to call 800 905 9505 if the unit stopped cooling again within 30 days. It took less than a week for the new Freon to leak out I scheduled another appointment for 6 July. They guy never came as scheduled. Last 4 months I am complaining to Airtel that I am not receiving my mobile bill in time. Airtel persons has found new way of handling this complain - by harassing in different way. Last 3/4 days I am receiving many calls (15-20) from Airtel( the persons says that calling from airtel) at different times and different tel nos. ( 40009631, 40009725, 9892708678 and others) asking about what is my complain and from next month every thing will be ok from next month. I live in Lyndon, VT, and I've had had Verizon DSL for almost a year and have had terrible service. My connection is unreliable; it comes and goes and is often down for hours or days at a time. My upload speed will crawl to a halt for no apparent reason. My upload speed is routinely about 1/3 as fast as Verizon promised (128 kbps is what is in their contract.) Tech support is useless. On 5/6 I made the mistake of ordering Pella French doors from Lowes. 3 weeks later when the doors arrived the hardware (handles) were not included. In checking out the Lowes rep admitted he made a mistake on the order and the handles I ordered were not available. But there were not any handles included at all. Virgin Media is far and away the world's worst customer service company. It is not surprising that the company is up for sale again. Anyone mad enough to buy them can expect the worst. Whatever due diligence they have done on the company will not prepare them for what they find on the ground. My own experience was an install from hell. I should have known what to expect when the VIrgin Media account generated and networld email address. I went to a Canadian Tire store located in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada and bought a Yardworks mower on July 3, 2007, Product #60-1622-0. Overall it worked ok... for about the first 10 minutes. I can fix it cause it's just an adjustment with the carburetor and maybe have to replace the spring, but that would void my warranty.
