I understood the Insurance Commission was to assure the consumer that the insurance companies were in compliance with the state insurance regulations and that they would investigate any and all credible and valid complaints made by a consumer. Is this a correct understanding of their role? I wanted to convert my Reliance post paid billing connection to pre paid connection.When contacted personally the R webworld shop at Vashi on 19th July, (Thursday) they informed that it is done only on Wednesday or Sunday. It is a general practice to harass customer if he has come for post to pre paid connection. As my billing cycle is from 22nd to 21st of the month I wanted to do it before next billing cycle. i.e. before 22nd July. We have a Maytag refrigerator that is only two years old; it is under warranty so Maytag sent A&E Factory Service to fix it. On 22 June the technician determined there was a Freon leak, refill the line and told me to call 800 905 9505 if the unit stopped cooling again within 30 days. It took less than a week for the new Freon to leak out I scheduled another appointment for 6 July. They guy never came as scheduled. It takes 3 days to get a technical problem resolved and I had to subscribe to another service in order to keep from losing incoming emails. I had shopped at another Macy's (Smithhaven Mall) where I received an additional 50% discount on 3-4 designer names yesterday. Last 4 months I am complaining to Airtel that I am not receiving my mobile bill in time. Airtel persons has found new way of handling this complain - by harassing in different way. Last 3/4 days I am receiving many calls (15-20) from Airtel( the persons says that calling from airtel) at different times and different tel nos. ( 40009631, 40009725, 9892708678 and others) asking about what is my complain and from next month every thing will be ok from next month. This morning I went to 3 Walgreens stores in Decatur, IL looking for the new release DVD Flushed Away which was advertised for release on Feb 20 (today). This item was advertised in Sunday's newspaper Walgreens ad along with a $5.00 off coupon. The first store said they had only received 2 of the DVDs and were already sold out! The other 2 stores had not even received any of the advertised item. ADV Films – USA company that sell Japan animations goods. Stay away from buying online merchandise from ADV films (www.advfils.com). This people are nasty with terrible service. They will sell you expensive FedEx shipping and buy UPS ground transportation that is much cheaper than what you pay for. On 5/6 I made the mistake of ordering Pella French doors from Lowes. 3 weeks later when the doors arrived the hardware (handles) were not included. In checking out the Lowes rep admitted he made a mistake on the order and the handles I ordered were not available. But there were not any handles included at all. I live in Lyndon, VT, and I've had had Verizon DSL for almost a year and have had terrible service. My connection is unreliable; it comes and goes and is often down for hours or days at a time. My upload speed will crawl to a halt for no apparent reason. My upload speed is routinely about 1/3 as fast as Verizon promised (128 kbps is what is in their contract.) Tech support is useless. They connect me to PC support even though I've asked for Mac support, then I have to wait on hold again, and listen to the same infuriating message... read full review »

I found out about the Fair Access Policy on working the internet thought satellite broadband. My speed has been reduce cause I work the internet heavy at times. Well who do work the internet. We went to Sears to buy a new washer and dryer. We were given quite the sales pitch on the new front loading washers. We purchased the Kenmore HE2plus washer and matching dryer. Virgin Media is far and away the world's worst customer service company. It is not surprising that the company is up for sale again. Anyone mad enough to buy them can expect the worst. Whatever due diligence they have done on the company will not prepare them for what they find on the ground. My own experience was an install from hell. I should have known what to expect when the VIrgin Media account generated and networld email address. I went to a Canadian Tire store located in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada and bought a Yardworks mower on July 3, 2007, Product #60-1622-0. Overall it worked ok... for about the first 10 minutes. I can fix it cause it's just an adjustment with the carburetor and maybe have to replace the spring, but that would void my warranty. 2 weeks ago I ordered some cigars from Thompson and they never arrived. I asked their customer service people for a UPS tracking number and could not get an answer. I emailed their cyber support, customer service team and never got an answer. I guess I have no choice but to call Mastercard and have them reverse the charge. I love cigars and have no problems with Cigars International, Cigars.com or JR's Cigars, all of whom deliver their product within days. When none of their promises were not forthcoming and they could neither refund my money nor release the domain name, I got another domain name and registered with another web host - Voda Host. The Customer service at Wild Blue is horrible. I was placing an order then afterwards on the same call needed to cancel due to some of the terms and was placed in a Que for over 50 minutes with no answer. I called then on another line and was placed in another Que after talking with a customer service representative and ten being told the wait time 50 minutes again. I have visited 3-4 Subhiksha retail stores in different parts of Delhi and was shocked to find the poor quality, rotten items being sold in the name of "Competitive Prices" at ALL of them. On questioning the salesmen the standard answer is ' the good quality items are over already'. Then why sell the ROTTEN STUFF.Even the staff is most discourteous.
