I used allvantage for several years without one complaint, in the last few months people pc has taken over and they are a nightmare to deal with. Do not ever sign up with Superiorroi.com - superior internet solutions. They are a rip off. They promised a 10 day guarantee to place you on the first page of google. They also promised the same with Yahoo, MSN, and a bunch of other search engines. They charge you $1499 as a set-up fee. This is regarding Airtel - Kolkata region, where i have faced a peculiar problem with them. My card is life time card and without my knowledge they used to deduct from my prepaid account rs.15/- every month for mci. When took the matter with customer care, nodal officer they will apologies and say this will not happen next time. I took out an Iburst 36 month contract, the sales rep came to my place of work and installed the modem to my laptop and checked that it worked and it did. I have a serious concern on the amount of plastic used by these vendors for packing their products. I stay in Pune, Maharashtra. Recently I visited the new retail shop "More" which is franchise outlet. I saw that they pack each an every vegetable in a different polythene, take a plastic sticker for the weight and bar code information and stick it on the plastic. When I moved to Columbia, MO I was pitched (and bit) DSL Internet service from Verizon. I was assured it was available in my area. When Verizon came out to install, I was informed that we were nowhere near close enough to the nearest switch box (or whatever node or hub in the city) to hook us up. No DSL service available, even though they double checked my address twice in the six weeks after I first called them. No service. EVERY TIME I download ANY file attached to an email, the Download Confirmation screen freezes and cannot be closed. The hour glass cursor replaces the arrow/pointer and disables all access. This would require me to CTRL-ALT-DELETE to exit AOL and then I could open the downloaded file by opening the folder into which I downloaded the file. Adult Home facility. We spend a lot of money at Home Depots stores all over for our constant need to update and renew our Facility. Seems I'm not alone in my struggle with Sears, yet I feel that my story is worse than any you have posted so far. They actually damaged my 150 year old home jamming the refrigerator through a doorway. After promising a mere $300 compensation, they haven't even done that and are now refusing to return my phone calls. To be a 10 yrs long life time member (free incoming facility) I had started last yr in August month to pay the Company, Reliance Communication, 79Rs/- per month and this yr in July i had given my last 79/- rs as per the company rules and instruction. I have a problem that no one seems able to solve. Motorola has lost my I850 phone that I use for a home based business. It was sent to Memphis on a (door to door) service (RMA 22387 & case number 252922) This phone has been sent in for repair four times in less than eight months. I have purchased a USB Modem from TATA Indicom in 325 Data Scheme where 1800 min usage is free/month. Unfortunately speed of the modem is very slow and their engineer has visited and verified that. At the end from customer care dept. it was informed that this problem will remain with my device for 3-4 months more.
