After caching a check this morning where Tele Check approved the check. I attempted to purchase goods at a second store. I was denied again. There are more than sufficient funds to cover the checks I am writing. I intend to notify the company that Tele Check is causing them to loose money in their own effort to keep from loosing money. Well it has been almost 6 days and Verizon still cannot figure out how to turn my DSL email accounts over to FIOS accounts. I cannot access my sub accounts and every night I call and they update the ticket. The OCS group then tells them it is working and nothing. Plus the on hold time is nuts. The fron line people at the fios are very nice but their hands are tied the say because they cannot even talk to the national email support people at verizon. I applied for Roadrunner and was very pleased at the expertise of the company in signing me up for service, BUT... When the day came for the Tech. to come to my house it was a know show. I had taken my kids in to have pictures taken before my son had to leave for the Marines. I think the service provided by the Photo Video Network in New Jersey was horrible. The photographer and videographer were fine. However the sales people that I have had to interact with-especially Bruce-have been rude and unprofessional. This Bruce yells at you if you call to ask questions! I Purchased a Nikon digital camera 2 years ago from Best Buy along with a 4 year Performance Service Plan. I returned the camera to Best Buy to repair a broken battery door clip and a focusing problem. The clip broke as a result of "normal wear and tear" opening and closing the battery door. I found a 149.99 charge on credit card. First of all how did they get my Credit Card Number? When you call they tell you to get your membership number off of your membership packet. I never received a packet! Secondly they told me I cashed a 9.95 dollar check which authorized the membership, which was a lie. They are a scam and if you are not watching your credit card statements they are going to burn you. They did deactivate the membership and will refund my C.C. I went on for a free credit report didn't get any kind of info and so I canceled it! I purchased a single MaxLite bulb for $1.00. When I got home and installed it, it did not light up. So I called the Company to let them know of the defect. The presentative said "no problem". But here's the rub. I received a letter requesting a cash register receipt or a UPC symbol from the package. No problem. But then they requested a $4.00 check or money order per CFL. Why would anyone pay $4.00 for a replacement bulb, when you can purchase a replacement for $1.00 plus tax? So much for a company standing behind it's product. Just bought a Nordictrack Audiostrider. Got it home and assembled only to discover that it runs on batteries (4 D cell) or you have to purchase the power cord seperately. Their customer service tells me it is an accessory. This is a $1000.00 machine. The ads tell you about its work out programs, the fan on the console, Iift card, how resistance adjusts automatically while you are working out and its speakers that your MP3 player can hook up to, all things that require power. I spent 2 hours on the phone arguing with they rogers reps. I was was pissed off over a bill that i paid to disconnect by phone to switch back to bell. I terminated the service on June 18.
