I had accumulated a lot of debt on my credit card. I transferred the balance to a lower rate to pay the balance off. I was reducing the amount by making 500.00 payments per month on a minmum payment of 200.00. I didn't notice that the credit card company changed the grace period from 28 days to 20 days and that caused my payment to be late, which automatically bumped the interest rate to 26.75% ! I purchased a nice looking JNY eyeglass frames from my optometrist. I even selected the kind with the reverse spring loaded hinges to prevent the frames from bending, but with very normal use (taking them off with one hand) I am constantly bending the frames to the point where they are loose on my head. I can re-bend the frames with my fingers (the metal is that soft). I know that the metal will eventually fatigue and break. I would avoid JNY frames at all costs. Hi, I have a similar very bad experience with Agarwal Packers and Movers (DRS Group). http://www.agarwalpackers.com They damaged my new Fully Automatic washing machine and upon claim and repeated follow up gave me a very minimal amount. They have also damaged my new Fridge and Bed and i have to call separate people to get them repaired. I can understand the frustration where you pay all money in advance trusting that the goods are in responsible hands but they are real cheaters. On 11-10-2007 ,i went to have my 1996 Madza pick-up tohave brakes and drum and rotor replaced on truck. the parts were appromiately 250.36. they charged me 1100.00 dollars for the job. I believe that they over charged on the labor. It only took 2hours to do the job. they charged 325.00 per hour .That is way too much. After filling out the information needed Adova called and spoke with us about their health insurance and it sounded so good we went ahead and signed up. I droppped off a two piece navy blue pant suite to be dry cleaned. When I picked up the item, the pants were damaged, the pants now looks like they are two different colors.
