I purchased a Magellan model 360 GPS in December 2006. The street names in Sebring, FL. had been changed one year earlier and they were not updated in the Magellan GPS. I was told there was none available yet. Three months later I was told the same thing, wait a little longer and an update should be available. I cancelled my earthlink dial up account, they made it difficult. There is no way-on the internet, to cancel. Once I told them I was copying the text in the chat and would post it online, they found a way to get a supervisor to cancel it. Then they asked for a security word, which they had wrong. I agree wholeheartedly with all of the submitters here complaining against Wild Blue Communications, Inc. I also had many problems with speed rates, "down times", phone call waiting times, return calls...not at all what they advertise. However, the installation set-up went fairly smooth (one date change only due to inclement weather.) Since I took connection I was not able to use internet regularly. First time it was due to the fault of my machine. Afterwards several times I had to complain about non connection to the main server. Called for a service call to fix rod of shutter. Was told on the phone that the call would be $95.00, which I agreed upon. Service person came out and fixed the problem. When we looked at the bill there was another charge of $50.00 for high work.
