I purchased a 50 inch hi-def projection T.V. from a Lacks store. They sold me an extended warranty in case a any breakdowns or etc. Well my T.V. received a screen burn-in due to some cable channels not all being hi-def yet. I have bought karizma last 7 months before from chrisma gold wheel Chandigarh in November . Company sold me 8 months old bike i.e the make is of feb. I have purchased a DVD home theater system from Philips. But from the beginning I have facing problem with remote control receiver unit. Simply stated, I did not get my money's worth. When I initially booked the appointment to have my house cleaned (a move-out clean) I specifically asked how long it would take to do a 1600 square foot house and the woman told me 1.5-2hours. I tried to exchange them at a Wallgreens store at a different location from the one he had shopped (his Brandon, I went to Mango). The exchange would have cost me $7+. I have tried repeatedly to call to shut off my service and the system through the phone line and the website does not even offer it as an option. I wait for hours to get though to a person who simply says they will transfer me to the right department and then put on hold for hours again. I think they will not talk to people behind on the bill? When the lamp arrived it looked really cheap and I read the return policy and found out I could return the item for a full refund. I sent the lamp back on 4-27-07. On 5-24-07 I called and spoke with a guy and he said he would send my information to the credit dept. I ordered the GT Express 101 from the infomercial on TV. When I hung up the phone, I knew I had made a mistake. I was kept on the phone approx. 10 minutes by a recording. You will never talk to a real person. The whole transaction takes place with a recording. They give you a high pressure sales pitch and you are not able to ask questions. I have received a call from the Idea customer care and the executive told that a plan will be activated on my prepaid number for which I have to make a payment of Rs500 and i will be provided 1000 minutes local call free, 1000 sms free and 100min for std free and after taking the amount i was told that i will be provided with a new postpaid number and i have to pay monthly rental of Rs 399 and those 1000 minutes will be from idea to idea. This service usually costs $80-$90 according to 2 other businesses I contacted. When I confronted the owner, he admitted I was overcharged and said the new charge should be $160. I have an airtel post paid connect for lat 5 years. Two weeks before it suddenly stop functioning saying SIM registration failure. Even after repeatedly complying to the Customer Care all they could say that the problem would be resolve in 4 hours. Now it is almost 2 weeks I have also replaced my SIM by paying 150 Rs but still no result. Surprisingly airtel doesn't have a working Customer Care Number which we can call from a landline.
