Our family purchased nearly $5000 worth of furniture from Destination Leather. Here is what happened: We were told all purchases are made to order and that we would have to wait a couple of weeks. No problem, except the delivery date came and went with no phone call from them. Poor service by the store, salesperson, and especially customer service. We purchased a coffee table Jan 1. It was delivered without the four panes of glass. They ordered replacements but after two weeks only one pane arrived. They ordered it again but this time after two weeks only two arrived. They ordered again but after two more weeks I have not seen the missing pane. So now I have a coffee table with a whole in the middle making it unusable. I received a bill from nwpsc for $160+ including a previous balance of $75+ and late fee of $10. I made the complete payment on the same day. However, neither did I receive my previous bill for $75+ nor did their online system allowed me to login and check my account balance. I bought a Range from Sears in May of 08 and I cut my finger on the vent that is right above the Range top and below the dials on a ledge and you cant see it... I was cleaning my range and ran my hand across the ledge to clean it and found the vent when it cut my finger badly.. I am looking for anyone else who has done this also. I had some issue with my patio cover and called American Patio Cover Plus they promised to call me back but they never did. They Just has this habit of receiving call and always promise to call back but they never do. Our ADT "experience" was a comedy of errors...until it became, not so funny. We moved into a house in October which had an extensive ADT system pre-installed. We contacted them, they sent out a sales guy, and we signed our contract...a 3 year deal with only 2 years enforced (and duly noted on the contract). Sue Garland who is one of the owners overcharged my credit card by 22, 000.00 . I only ordered a carpet runner and she charged me for all of these items that we had not decided upon. They lied to me, to GA consumer affairs, and the better business bureau, and the credit card company. Sue changed the dates on invoices and was caught in many lies. I purchased a Swivel Chair which turned out to have a defective Base. I contacted Jennifer customer services on approximately February 11 or 12th, 2009 to have them send one of their technicians to repair it. Wil-Build Construction LLC of Hillsboro, MO had failed to complete written special agreements listed within the real estate sales contract. This company has also had there membership revoked with the St. Louis BBB for failure to resolve this issue. If you are currently in or thinking of entering into contract with this company, make sure that all of the work agreed to and in writing is completed before releasing full payment. I am looking for advice on how to follow up on a builder that has not met his obligations. Graham Block from Build Solutions under took to do R300 000 alterations to my home in January 2007. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to be registered with the NHBR. He did the majority of the work he promised in the first 6 months, but after receiving final payment has been lax to complete the job. We had a new gas central heating system fitted in September 2008, comprising of a combi boiler, and seven radiators. Whilst the workmen were removing one of the old radiators, dirty rusty water leaked from the said radiator landing on top of our brand new wooden dining room table, which seats 8 adults. I purchsed a Polaroid 32" LCD w/DVD in Sept 2007. Four months later it quit working. I called Polaroid and they sent out a technician who had to replace the board. Three months later the DVD went out. I made due by connecting my old DVD player to it. However last month, Jan 2009 it quit working again. I called Polaroid and they told me there was nothing they could do since it was out of warranty. I took it to a tv repairman who said he could fix it for $400 but told me not to bother because without a cooling mechanism it would continue to burn out. I found a local company thru Service Magic, called Ben's Construction out of Tacoma WA. They did not complete the driveway that I had ordered replaced. They left equipment here, I had to complete the work, and clean up after them. I called the company many times but just kept getting the run around. I called service magic to complain but got no satisfactory response. As I returned the rental equipment, I was informed by the rental company that the compactor was actually stolen. Hello, I would like for this to reach someone in management at Easy Life. The Murrieta store manager is being completely unhelpful about an issue I have. I bought an Entertainment Center there last Sunday. We have a space that is 8 feet and ½ inch wide that it can fit into, and we told the sales person this (Dan Bennett).
