I purchased a Groehe shower set about 3 years ago for a guest bathroom that is used infrequently. A few weeks ago the shower head broke (fell apart). It is suppose to have a lifetime warranty. I contacted Groehe customer service. After waiting on the phone for over 1/2 hour. I was treated very rudely and told they could and would do nothing for me. The prodict was top end and fairly expensive and the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. I also visited a local plumbing supply house who told me that Groehe quality is poor. We purchased Snow Thrower in Canadian Tire at Yonge and Steeles. After 2 days we decided to return this product, because our friends have same machine and it works very bad . We never opened that box. But in the store they told us, that this machine have been used, and refused to accept return of this merchandise, wich is strictly against their policy .This is a shame for a company of this caliber to have such bad business practice. A & E stands for Assholes and Enemies! This is one of the most pathetic, incompetent, and outwardly hostile company's I've ever come in contact with! My old Kenmore Dryer broke so I needed a used dryer. I went to Accord Appliance on Roscoe and purchased a slightly used Kenmore dryer. Mark/Mike the owner was supposed to deliver it at 8pm the following day. He NEVER showed up to deliver my appliance! I called three times to confirm the appointment and he never returned my calls. We installed Bruce Traffic Zone Flooring in a large portion of our home. One of the reasons we chose this product was the the 25 year moisture warranty. We now have swelling at most of the joints and in one bathroom some complete peeling of the top layer. It took 6 months for an inspector to come out, and his report states that the problem is due to the way we cleaned the floor. We maintained the floor like the warranty stated. This company advertises one price and charges a much higher price when the order is placed. They advertise buy one get one free, but want to double the shipping charges also. So, a vegatable peeler, buy one get one free was: $14.99 each plus 6.99 S&H, then add $4 sales tax. They then ask you if you want two. In September 08 I bought an Aneboda bed frame and Lilliker Bed slats from Ikea. I didn't put it together until Jan. 09. I slept on this new bed one night and the next day I sat on the edge to put on my socks and the slats slipped off of the metal railing inside the bed frame. Purchased a sleeper sofa in March 2008 and by the summer it was broken. It was only used as a bed three times over all those months. The sofa bed leaned back too far according my my guest and then all of a sudden would not push into a couch, thus leaving me with a bed 24/7 and no where to sit. A month ago we bought a water softener and water filtration system. Our water is bad and we felt we needed to do this. My boyfriend and I have bought 6 Raised Airbeds from Intex( thru Shopko) every single mattress has gotten a leak at the seam. We called Intex and were told they do not do refunds or exchanges on thier products. The box that the mattress came in says " do not return to store call Intex for any problems". Worst customer service EVER! They are just a shadow company and at the mercy of Reliant to do ANYTHING. I protested the horrendous billing post-Ike and received empty promises from Green Mountain. Suddenly I am in collections and have had NO communications from GM. I am going back to RELIANT who can actually DO something as simple as checking my meter for errors. I bought the iDrive because it offered a quick and simple approach to mounting a garage door opener. The design seemed ingenious...and it really is...but their implementation of the motor/gearbox is less than robust. In just under a year, I've burned up two motors (under warranty) and 3 months ago they sent me a whole new unit under warranty and just today it burned up again. I too believed Art Krull and HSN that the Ultrex brand was quality merchandise. I bought numerous cookware sets because of the warranty. Needless to say, they are all flaking off black coating. Insane how bad this company is. I bought a couch and leather ottoman from Boston Interiors(no problem with the furniture) but I bought the warranty for the ottoman b/c I figured that things happen to leather and people would have their feet on it all the time.
