We purchased a KitchenAid KPMC140 microvave oven in 2003 and are about to replace the door springs for the third time. And when they fail, they don't just fail in place but rather come flying out of the unit. This could be a real hazard. Clearly, the springs were not specified to handle the weight of the door for normal use. We have also replaced the controller and the display panel in this unit. As a user of Hamilton Ives chimney sweepers. I would like to complain about their work ethics. I was bullied into buying a liner when I really felt my liner was in good enough condition as did my son. They use scare tactics to make a sale and get their foot in the door by selling me a 'cheap sweep'. Something did not seem legal about the whole process. Center Point Gas Service has the worst Customer of all utility companies I've ever dealt with... !!! I have forgotten to pay the bill and they disconnected the gas service. I paid the bill immediately. Ordered 5 interior cherry wood 6 panel doors for one hallway area in my home. Three of the door were installed, after found out that the other 2 doors were special order at 600.00 a piece. Based on a horrifying experience, this national business uses false advertising and carries misleading charges. They claim that the locksmith services start at $29 but don't write that this fee is just for the technician reporting to the site alone. This company charges a $3 fee for paying online using a credit card. I had heard that this was illegal, so I contacted my credit card company (MasterCard), which told me it was illegal 99.9% of the time, leaving the .1% to a payment arrangement through a third party agent. In this age of technology and automated payment software, I would think this is not only unethical, but unfair. I spoke to HDinstallers on the phone and, after paying their ridiculous fee, they sent out a bum in a van who said he was there to install my plasma tv. My wife wouldn't even let the guy into our house b/c he didn't have identification showing that he was with HD installers. The company came out to fix two torsion springs that broke and charged us 496.55. The invoice only states that " 2 Springs adjusted". There was no breakdown as to what we were being charged for. I purchased a Jack LaLanne express juicer and not to long afterwards the blade/filter broke leaving m unable to use. I have been trying to get the part for over a year and kept being told that it would be shipped within 30 days. After the 30 days I wouldget another notice saying the same thing. Either I or may Bank made a mistake, and sent my mortgage payment of 774.52 to Comed, and my $48 electic payment to the mortgage company. The drain under my tub is ruptured. I have a home warranty through 2-10/ Home Buyers Resale Warranty Corporation that notes that plumbing is covered. They say that they do not cover any damage due to a leak nor do they cover any damage done to the structure in order to repair a covered repair.
