We first called Brian 12/29/09 he said he put 20 pounds of R-22 in our system and ther was no leak. By 3/16/09 the a/c was blowing hot again. He pumped a leaking system full of freon again and said he didnt thinkit would last. 3/30/09 we called him again because we had no a/c. He said he would put more freon in and would have to fix later. It all started out great. They came out to the house to give us a free estimate and were able to compete with their competitors as far as pricing went. They took our money and set up our install. We were promised their best installer and we got everything but. In June 2004 I ordered a bookcase and TV stand from Oak Post Furniture in Laurel, MD. When I called to track the order six weeks later, I was told the manufacturer had not delivered and I would have to wait until mid-November. I just tried to reach Oak Post in Laurel and there was no answer. I continued to try calling all the other stores in Maryland and Virginia to find that all the numbers were no longer in service. I ordered a set of french doors from Gym, the owner of the Window Connection, on 5 March, 2009. The french doors I ordered included what are called internal perimeter grids. The doors were delivered on March 17th, 2009, but did not have any grids. I signed up for a heating protection plan in 2009 and was paying 20.99 per month. In one service call I was told by a sales representative from Direct Energy that there is a more comprehensive plan (Total home protection plan) that covers air conditioning and plumbing, etc. for additional 9 dollars. I bought a livingroom suit from conn's and the product has torn & is coming apart. I called and they come out to take pictures of this mess. It has been a month and a half since conn's had come out and i have called several times since then. They act like they are ignoring my calls. I cannot get them to call me back or have not received nothing in the mail.The furniture is so bad, that it's getting to where we cannot sit on it anymore because of the staples and pieces of boards sticking you. A new low in customer service, mainly, there is none. Couple that with immediately charging your credit card for merchandise they dont have and dont plan on shipping, along with a phone system that ONLY goes to mailboxes that are full, and you have the perfect system for ripping people off all day long. I along with a few other employees left after we were informed that we would not be receiving a paycheque due to financial difficulties. We signed a contract with Claims Specialists International (CSI) on August 30, 2008 to act as our roofing consultant and contractor for an insurance claim to replace our hail damaged roof. I have held 3 seperate policies with Homeserve for the couple of years. We had a blocked drain which was causing our toilet to overflow. Homeserve sent out an engineer who agreed that the drains behind the toilet must have some kind of blockage. The drains were behind a tiled wall. We are getting a new bathroom fitted and the tiles and wall were taken down. We bought our home in July 2008, new, from Pulte Homes. It was equipped with GE appliances, and we brought our own washer and dryer, which are also GE. Within six months our dishwasher stopped working correctly.
