I received an phone call several times about government grants being offered and an website to go to. The offer was a free CD with shipping and handling charges of $2.29 which I agreed to. The offer never said a charge of $39.95 would be charged afterwards. Like I said it was a free CD which I have yet to receive. We ordered this product off the television, and sorry to say didn't check their terms and conditions. I have now cancelled this product TWICE, yet still getting charged with their monthly. When Companies like this come up, they will do anything to keep these products going, and can keep charging your accounts, until you totally cancel your bank accounts, and start over. Sue Garland who is one of the owners overcharged my credit card by 22, 000.00 . I only ordered a carpet runner and she charged me for all of these items that we had not decided upon. They lied to me, to GA consumer affairs, and the better business bureau, and the credit card company. Sue changed the dates on invoices and was caught in many lies. We used Hotwire to book our car rental through Dollar Rental in Orlando, FL. We were to pick the car up at their Universal Blvd location the evening of 02/11/2009. We were told while booking they would hold the car for 24 hours. We called to let them know our flight was late and we would not be able to pick it up in the morning. An employee of ours rented a car from Thrifty Car Rental. They were hit by another vehicle and were not at fault whatsoever! I have signed on with fds and I was served with papers from one of the credit card companies today they are sueing me. I then called fds who preceeded to tell me to fax everything to then and not to worry. I have now found this website and am reading all these complaints and think at this point I need ro file bankruptcy so I can stop paying these crazy fees to fds. They seem to collect all their fees up front and leave you nothing to work with to settle with the credit card people. I have tried to contact Slingshot Communication, Inc. by email and phone. They never answer their phones or email. I have a wireless modem from them that can be "recharged" with a credit card for more airtime. Their online credit card "recharge" system doesn't work.
