We recently had our service with Fairpoint canceled. We chose another provider whom we are very pleased with. Fairpoint will not release our telephone number to our new provider. What this means is that I can call anyone anywhere and NO ONE WHO IS A FAIRPOINT CUSTOMER CAN CALL ME! I bought a Range from Sears in May of 08 and I cut my finger on the vent that is right above the Range top and below the dials on a ledge and you cant see it... My wife just received notice that her check account was overdrawn. When we investigate the account statement, we find that AIG insurance has place two withdrawals to this account for $24.9o each. This withdrawals occurred on 1/20/09 and then 2/18/09, less than one month later. AIG never received any authorization from us for insurance. We never received any policy or notification of what this insurance is. The only way AIG could have access to this account, is if Wells Fargo gave them the information and authorization. Next Level Marketing which uses the name Quote Associates says that they are a marketing company that exclusively markets in specified zip codes for health insurance leads. They give you projections as to how many leads from each zip code you should receive. They maintain a website for all the leads that come in for you. After 5 months I received NO leads, not one.
