As of 9/14/10, I have not received any follow up from HIT (formerly Heritage Web Design) after I have paid them in FULL in April 2010. I initially provided all requirements, scope, contents, and examples. Their customer service Reps, Account Managers, and Designers appears to incompetent and sometimes rude. For the past two weeks my internet speed has been very slow..I have the 6 Mb service which i only get about 1 Mbto 3 Mb from time to time. I should have read all the warnings before I got involved in this scam. They promise you front page optimization for your website. They set up a cheesy .org website and place it on first page of bing, yahoo and never got me on google, as promised. You have to enter a very specific search term to find your "so called website" on yahoo. When you want to cancel, forget it. They never return phone calls or respond to e-mails. I ordered 4 NiMh 2300mAh batteries with tabs. I usually analyse all batteries and discharge them before soldering the battery pack in order to have all the cells balanced between them. In the last order, one of the batteries gave roughly 1Ah, which is much less than the stated 2.3Ah. It is normal for the batteries they sell to give lower than stated capacity. 2.3Ah cells usually only give 1.7Ah, but that is acceptable for me. The g2 personal radio stoped working after only one day of use. When I e-mailed "support" at slacker they wouldn't authorise a return with out filling out a questionare that would have taken hours to research. "I could guess that my defective purchase wasn't going to be handled in a helpfull manor. With out a more positive customer return policy, I am sure slacker is hurting theirchances for success. Ordered (as a new customer) an item, (porta a potty)- when arrived the pieces would not fit together (the seat to the included pail) that came as a set did not fit, three of us tried to no avail. I booked accommodation at the Grateful Guest House in Bloemfontein via the internet using a company called Rooms for Africa. Upon arrival we found that the accommodation was really sub-standard and nothing like what is mentioned on the Rooms for Africa website. On the 15th of September 2009, I received a letter of demand from VVM Attorney. I called them requesting for a reconnection fee to MTN. Cynthia said she will come back to me and she did not. I called 12 times and eventually I got hold of Kelvin. He promised to call me back after 48 hrs which turned out to be 96 hours.
