We decided to catch a 'quick' meal before a 12h15 movie at Sandton city on Saturday (20th March). We ordered what we thought would be a light meal of two wraps, 3 hot drinks and a doughnut for the kids. The order was taken at about 11h35. The store was quite busy so we thought the meal would take about 15 minutes to prepare. However after 20 minutes no sign of the food or a waiter to inform us of the progress. In fact I went up to the counter to enquire what was happening. I then requested the doughnut as the kids were hungry by now. At 12h05 I enquired again about the meal. I asked to speak to the manager (who only arrived at 12h00) and he said the meal was coming. Still not even the drinks came. Complete chaos reigned in the store. In fact all I saw was angry customers around me. One couple could wait no further, and after fighting with the waiter they did the sensible thing and left (probably never to seen again). At 12h15 after no progress I went to the 'manager' Jabu and informed him of my disgust, and promptly left with a fuming head and an unpaid doughnut bill. As a regular customer I am very dissapointed, and will be a very reluctant visitor in the future.
