I purchased two GE agitatorless washer/dryer sets in October 2009. My son & daughter-in-law's set was defective from the first & they exchanged for complete different sets a few days after delivery. In June of 2009, I purchased and had installed a laminate floor manufactured by Shaw. The product is their Radiant Luster line. It's their top of the line floor and expensive. My Oasis Washer is 2 years old and has a chronic problem with the "Balance Alarm". It was Tinkered with but not fixed and now the warranty has expired. Sears offered to sell us an extended warranty for $119.00 to cover labor. The parts will be $300 to $400. This is unacceptable. Sears is selling warranties, not decent appliances. On April 12, 2010, after raising the concrete in our driveway, CRC Concrete left most of their "slurry" on our grass. This company is accredited with BBB and they shouldn't be. They did not take my concerns seriously when I called and complained and waited until I told them I had taken pictures before they did anything about it. I spent yesterday, 5/3/10 / waiting for the installers to come and put in my carpeting. After many phone calls to the company they finally showed up and worked until 8:30 in the evening. I would never deal with them again in the future. The salesman was rude and hung up on me when I was explaining my complaint. The installers did a good job but much too late. We ordered roll down blinds for the living at the beginning of April 2009. The "designer" came to measure for an additional 97 dollar fee our floor to ceilingwindows. We wanted four separate sections. She had only 3 measurements written down so when questioned she said it was fine she knew what she was doing. 6 weeks later the installer arrive and find that there are 3 sections instead of four. My 15 year old son keeps getting a collection call from TX energy on his cell phone. He has has this phone number for over 2 years. Purchased a Insinkerator hot water dispenser it began leaking after a year. Purchased another one with the three year warranty it also leaked after about a year with all the restrictions and rules of the warranty its like having no warranty at all. I hired Dale Upcraft to do some work on a mobile home I inherited from my late aunt. He came recommended to me.
