They charged a 19 year old $445.95 to fix a small break of a 3/4" pvc pipe. They charged $150 to show up and another $295.95 to fix it. When I spoke to the manager he said he was ok with this because the kid approved it and he is an adult. He also said there is nothing I can do about it. I can at least make other people aware of their pricing. Unfortunately, the California Licensing Board that his license is under does not regulate prices and suggests getting at least 3 bids. I bought a GE Profile fridge in 6/2008. From the get go we had issues with it not staying cold, spikes in temp in both the fridge and freezer, and occasional frost on the food in the freezer. Since the day they completed the job Hard Rock Landscaping has ignored every single attempt to communicate about and resolve the issues. The first set of windows they installed were wrong, they cut chunks of framing out to make them fit. Then they capped over the drain holes in the sill. Aftewr 2 or more years they finall came out and replaced the windows. When there was a problem they kept delaying anfd even tried to sell me outside siding saying that was why they leaked. Some retailers are out of touch and provide poor customer service, especially to working families. Take Thomasville for example. I bought the Nocturne dining set and the screws on chairs come out too easily. One guest sat and broke a chair within a year and now I cannot even buy the same chair. Do you know how much a complete toilet in a sealed box should weigh? I don't. All I know is I bought a toilet to go in a big heavy sealed box. It was heavy and I needed help lifting it. Less than a year of buying 1500KVA double battery Luminous Invertor, poorer by 20 grands, but still no relief from frequent light outs. The Sales consultant at their Tottenham Court Road Branch ordered the wrong bed, no apologies nothing only abuse such as telling you to 'shut up' when I complained to the Branch in person, Customer services on the phone were just as bad if not worse. ATX Roofing did not show up on time, did not cover the landscaping, A/C units and the supervisor never showed up on the job. Job lasted two days.
