On April 3 of 2009, I received a letter from my carrier, Verizon, that I had switched and authorized a change in my phone service to worldcom for my local and long distance. I do not have long distance with ANYONE. I did not speak to anyone from MCI about this switch. When I asked the Verizon rep, he said that MCI has been known for using pop ups that when you click on, it sends a cookie/spyware to their computers and changes your service. WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE. I purchased and downloaded this software Pinnacle Studio V12.1 Ultimate), which would not install. I spent hours on the phone with tech support, to no avail. Finally, I purchased the DVD disk of the software, which was shipped, and installed properly. Today, Digitalriver sent me an e-mail, advising me that the download was defective, and instructing me to re-download the original purchase.
