The rep contacted me stating I had won a $1000 internet only shopping spree. Visa and Mastercard were sponsoring this promotion and I would also receive 5 magazines at the rate of $3 per week of which I would only pay for using my Visa or Mastercard along with shipping an handling for my packet. This is when red flags were raised when they asked for my credit card number. So I just hung up the phone then they repeatedly tried to call me back from an unknown number. I too have been scammed by HLD GRANTHELP ORDER. American express has disputed my first complaint and I have been credited back the first 3.95 and 74.95. Now they have billed me again. I tried to call the number listed on my American express bill of 888-662-8762 and it rang about 10 times then disconnected. These people need to be shut down for this scam. I applied and the only amt to be charged was 3.95. Now came the other charge of 74.95. I have no idea what that was for. When I recievewd this product, I took it for the first 3 days and obtained extreamly bad pain in my stomache. I was curled up in a ball with pain for 3 days. We lived there about 6 years ago and just got in the mail from a collection agency a letter stating charges that were put on our account and that they were reporting to the major credit reporting agencies. I got a call from ADSI (Able Debt Settlement) in October to help me with my credit card debt. They gave me a plan and it seemed reasonable. They did not tell me the dangers of debt settlement and but said that all of my creditors would bend to the settlement because it wouldn't be worth it to them to pursue me any other way. I had the roof installed late December 2007, and gutters are falling off. This past winter was a nightmare. Unknown to me that they had gone out of business. No contact information. I am stuck with paying back a $5, 000.00 loan which was finance through them with some home improvement finance company they recommended. I was hoodwinked by this johnny james clown from this company. I spent $15, 000 on call blasts and email blasts to help promote the business. That was 8 months ago and now they dont pick up the phone. He made me believe that he was a Christian. What seemed odd is that he gave me his cell phone number to call him, which I thought was OK to do. I know that the verification was recorded, but the cell phone calls couldn't have been recorded. Of course I have a contract with ATT for cell phone service. It appears this contract only works one way-I pay, no matter what. Even if my new phone does not work, the extra features of the phone do not work, the phone dies and loses the signal. It has been replaced 3 times now and I still cannot use it. Do not eat at the McDonalds on the Skyway I-90. Besides being filthy my husband was served coffee with three worms in the bottom.
