I requested an estimate for a re-roof from Burr Roofing Co in Darien CT. A manager was sent to my home who looked over my roof (a relatively uncomplicated cape style), and said he would return to take detailed measurements. He never returned, and my phone calls and emails to the company are never returned. I would hate to think of the problem I might have had this company done the job, and I had a problem with leaks. Stay away from free trial offers of resveratrol. Before you know it (because the fine print is so small) you'll be billed $80US for a "free trial" of the product and the company won't answer their customer care line or answer their email, so you can't return the product. During the Christmas holiday me and my boyfriend were at the mall doing some last minute shopping when I saw a candy red 2005 Mustang GT parked in the middle of the mall. We contracted Stone Blue for photography services for our November 2005 wedding. My fiance is active duty military and we found out in June 2008 (contract was signed in May 2008) that he was being delayed in Iraq and we needed to change our wedding date. I called to inquire about a free sample of Omega 3 for a one-time shipping charge of $9.95. I communicated quite strongly that I did not want to be put on any auto-ship program without my consent. The person assured me they wouldn't do this - yet they did put me on auto-ship, and billed my credit card $109.85 - shipped me 3 more bottles at an inflated price of $36-bottle without telling me. That order was NOT received by me until 12-12-08, but on the invoice, it said it was due by 12-05-08. The first order was received on 12-7-08, but also said that it was due on 12-5-08. Hello people, this past year we have lived through a very hard time trying to have the crane plumbing (universal rundle) correct a error they made during manufacturing a toilet, and they just keep flushing us down the drain. They opened my sunroof before sending the car through the wash cycle. I noticed it when it was one-half way through the wash "tunnel" and informed the nearest car pool personnel. They stopped the wash and closed the sunroof. The end result is the that the front seats are stained with large marks - now that they are dry it is obvious that they are stained. This business appears to be a reputable business at first glance but after having problems with them delivering what I ordered, I looked up on the Internet to find multiple similar complaints. Since they came from different locations, it appears it is not restricted to a location or Manager but seems more like their corporate way of doing business. This has been one of the worst, if not the worst, example of poor customer service I have ever been involved in! My husband got there one hour before the airplane to leave and they didn't let him to check in for Delta. The person at the desk told him that they make exceptions, but not today. They charged him 250 per person for the next day flight, so for him and one of my daughter went up to 500 extra. I had purchased a car at Browns in Fairfax, Virginia and they promised me free oil changes for 3 years as part of the "extended warranty". Took it in for the first oil change 3 months later and whadda you know, they lost the paperwork and couldn't honor the oil change agreement. I recently took my car for just a regular oil change to Purrfect (P.U.R.R.F.E.C.T) Auto Service, 2048 E. Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, California.
