Against my better judgement I paid the $39.95 to join membership to this site. My payment was quickly accepted and I was told that I would receive an information packet via mail. I have received nothing via mail or email. I have sent 3 emails requesting a full refund (as promised on the website) I have not received any response from the site. I feel like a fool. I am a stay at home Mom who was not trying to get rich but was trying to help out during these tough economic times. Now I am out almost 40$. Stay away from any site that asks you to pay money for work. It's a scam. read full review »

My husband contacted Mary by phone in late August 06 in regard to having her cover a novelty helmet in leather. We ourselves purchased a helmet and included a $90 dollar money order and a photo. The entire package was mailed out on 9-1-06 we also paid $37.29 for shipping.We have spoken with Mary and her staff at least 4 times a week over the last 5 months. My complaint is against Chuck's Electric of Brentwood, California. In June of 2006, Chuck was working on a neighbor's house when he dropped a service line on my vehicle and dragged the wires across the vehicle scratching it in multiple locations. He and his wife would almost never answer the phone or return calls regarding the cost to repair the car. Ordered on line a purse on Nov. 2, 2008. Never recieved it, contacted the company via e mail (they do not return phone calls) only to discover they no longer carry that particular item. Our recent visit to Rainbow Restaurant on North Elm Street in Torrington, CT was a very bad experience. Upon making reservations for six people we were told there would be no problem. When we arrived at the restaurant no one knew of a reservation for us. One of our people was handicapped and we had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated. They charged me $42.00 dollars for city tax on top of the $179.00 dollars a night then they charged me $4.00 dollars for a call that no one even answered. On top of other tax's. I bought a Maytag Gemini range/oventop. The oven door shattered while we were cooking. Tempered glass flew all over our kitchen endangering our two young children. I am sitting at my house for the second day that is now wasted due to the incompetence of your company. On May 11th, we were supposed to have a service call between 8am-12pm. I read with interest the complaint by Dan Snedigar that his Skagen Slimline men's watch crystal failed on him twice. We have had the exact same failure with our slimline watch. The crystal cracked for no apparent reason. The replacement cost is $30, but after reading his complaint, we question that wisdom of dumping money into a product that has a innate failure in the crystal... what is the point. My advice echos his - stay away from Skagen and buy a watch that does not have this type of failure, and poor customer support. read full review »

Above names are all linked. You find yourself accidently enrolled. Have no enrollment information, no ID # no password and you call to un-subscribe. You may have ordered a product from the internet and they take your credit card info and deduct monthly payments from your account. They have an answer service but you never can find out how to cancel what ever membership they say you have. The only way out would be to change you credit card info. We reserved a room at the Emerald Iguana Cottages, in Ojai California, for 2 nights (September 16 & 17, 2006). At the time of the reservation, we were charged for the first night of September 16, 2006. Watch out folks - if you don't pay attention to that final page where you request the "free" sample and put in your credit card information for the shipping, they will hook y0u into being placed onto an automatic MONTHLY billing program to the tune of $85.26. Since taking occupancy in July of 1996, I've had several complaints, some of which were addressed to my satisfaction and some that were not. Up until now my biggest complaint has been the inferior windows that were installed. I've had, and still have mold around very leaky windows. In addition, every couple of years there is mold on the roof next to the fire place chimney. My latest and most serious complaint is the basement foundation that I've complained about before. My complaint concerns Sylvania Silverstar Headlight Bulbs- which are being marketed across the nation as a new type of bulb that offers increased safety by extending the vision range on vehicles. This companys ordering system is a SCAM. First of all the website shows 19.99 + S&H.. The company DOES NOT tell you what your order total is before you hit the "order" button so you assume its the price that the website gave you. Then the S&H charges are almost $30.00!!! We recently returned a leased vehichle and was surprised to learn we were going to be charged over 1, 000.00 dollars for a thumb impression on the bumper which was not readily visible. This was in addition to over 400.00 for cleaning. We were not given any credit for the car being 300 miles under allotment and with gas in the tank. We believe this is outrageous to have us pay to replace the full bumper for some thumb impression. I am pretty sure that they just pushed on the underside. Someone claiming to be from "Business Systems" constantly calls and asks us for the serial numbers on our copiers. We know that it's a scam so we don't tell them anything, but how can we find out who they are? When we ask for a phone number (their # doesn't show on caller ID), they say they don't have incoming phone lines.
