I Received a call on 5-15-08 from a rep at Actrade International LTD by the name Lauren Miller and was told i was approved for a personal loan. I was told by Lauren Miller that if i was interested or if i wanted to decline the approval. I just discovered the truth about Intelius and that truth is that they are not a trust worthy business. Early last month (April '09) I purchased a one time people search/address look-up information @$1.95 (a one time fee.) I am now being charged for a monthly membership fee @ $19.95 per month. I have paid for several travel/vacation packages and have not been able to use the packages or get a refund for the money I paid. The latest is a package that includes the Orange and Green Trolley I paid for in Oct '08 and they were supposed to be sent in Jan '09. They weren't. Do NOT buy a kingsdown mattress from Sleepy's. After sleeping on it for one night, you'll know why. I awoke feeling like i'd been hit by a car. I did one comfort exchange, and the next bed was even worse. Now I'm stuck with a bed I can't sleep on. KIngsdown should recall their Sleep to Live series - it's the worst bed y ou could possibly buy. Customer service won't even talk to you, other than offer you a discounted mattress. Scamming---Sign says one price, pump says another. A microscopic sign on the pump says you must use debit card to receive discount. Full price must be displayed on sign. I use BP Credit Card and I get charged 4 cents higher than sign price. Complaints are incredible, but nothing has been done to correct this. I used Flat Rate Carpet in Brooklyn. Well not really, they never showed. When I called later, I asked simply if they had a problem why didn’t they call me. Here I was waiting and waiting and wait. Did they call? No – they just never showed. I would suggest before anyone uses them to clean or repair their carpet think twice or three times. They have prove to be unreliable. I called today, the 15th day to cancel any charges as specified online when I ordered on May 2nd ans was told that the 15th day as yesterday, the 16th of May. My daughter-in-law wanted to try Pro-Active, but didn't have a credit card to use for the first shipment (the trial). The trial was only 4.99, and it was around Christmas time, so I told her she could use my card. The five dollar shipment wound up being a charge of 4.99 and two additional charges of 33.94. These people get you on the phone and sell you their product by telling you they are a non-profit organization wanting to help people that have no health insurance. They go through the many features that is supposed to make this plan ( they continuously tell you their product is NOT health insurance) sound wonderful without going into detail. We took our Dog to Pro Tec Dog and Cat grooming for his first grooming. We were called to pick our Dog up after grooming was complete. The employee said she managed to clip all of our dogs back toe nails but she was having a hard time because he was resistant to having that done, the employee said our dog growled and threw his head into her as she was clipping.
