I have a problem with First Horizon. I have had a Home Mortgage with them for the past 6 years; and never had a late payment. I am currently paying my loan on line with them. I received a letter from them letting me know they were going to start charging a "convenience fee" of $11 in the future. They did offer me other options that are 'free.' I can join their bank. Household Bank or HSBC. I have been a customer for over 5 years and spent thousands of dollars. I have never missed a payment or been late on a payment. I called and asked them to waive the $39.00 annual fee charge and they refused. They said it was impossible. So i asked them, they would rather lose my business over 39.00 and they said there was nothing they could do. So i closed my account. RE: Citi Credit Cards I have had a Citi card (through Quicken) for exactly 7 years and have always made payments, often more than the minimum, on time. I am very careful to take care of my credit rating and have a very good score as a result. In May 2007, I made a mistake, which I discovered as I was reconciling my bank statement. In order to play current game you go online and must give a lot of personal information. Your supposed to enter code to be in contest. Theres no place to enter it. Called customer service and rude woman asked me if i knew how to listen, all you have to do is disable my pop up blocker. Ok, its not on the site and my pop up blocker is off. There is no way at all to e-mail mountain dew or pepsi. Great idea guys. No one can play and it wasn't fun and now I'm actually angry for wasting my time. I bought a one year plan & refurbished phone from TracFone (www.tracfone.com). I have had a problem with my tracfone from day one. It took from the day I got it (4/9) until 4/27 to finally get the thing activated. I tried to port my verizon number, and received a new sim card the second day or so, but that didn't work because the number didn't port. That didn't bother me, as long as I got the phone to work. We have been receiving numerous unsolicited phone calls (3-5 calls per day) from the NRA. I was a former member of the NRA however I choose not to renew my membership. I have emailed NRA to stop harassing us with all of their phone calls . Our efforts have been unsuccessful as we continue to receive numerous phone calls from the NRA on a daily basis. I am complaining on services received by the Manager/Owner of Dairy King in Xenia, Ohio. On May 6th My Fiancee and i went for ice cream. I ordered a banana split tornado. It was liquid. I complained to the owner in hopes he would replace with a different type. I expected ice cream not liquid. The owner was very rude and out right refused to replace a $2.39 item. I purchased a vehicle from Huston Motors, Lake Wales Fl.back in July'06. They organized the finance with Drive Financial, Dallas TX. We were rushed into signing the contract without reviewing it thoroughly. Only after we realized that a fee of $2500 was added to our loan. In 2002 I had fallen behind on some bills and went online to find a cash advance loan. I filled out paperwork with Express Cash. They then called me and subsequently faxed over a package for me to fill out and fax back with a bank check. I did as instructed, and the next day I had $300 deposited into my checking account. I see that there are numerous people who have been ripped off by this company. Not sure how they got your info, you either... a) applied online for a payday loan or b) applied for what you thought was a credit card. They got me too. I have been fighting with them for a week. I sold a vehicle I owned back in February of '07 to Carmax. Received a pay-off confirmation from Wells Fargo. Now after after 3 months I have been receiving calls on a daily basis from Wells Fargo collections claiming that I am 90 days behind in my payments and I must make a payment right now otherwise I would be reported to the Credit Bureau and the vehicle re-possessed. I asked Car max to call them and clear up the matter. Carmax sent me a copy of the cleared check that was paid to Wells fargo but to no help. I am still receiving calls everyday. I am fed up. The incorrect part had the correct part number on the package but was obviously mis-labeled. I obtained a refinance through Ameriquest in 2003 with a "fixed" rate that lasted 3 years, then went to an adjustable rate that only ever goes up. My gripe is with Snap On Tools of Kenosha Wisconsin Let me first say that Snap-On tools make some of the best quality tools in the business. I have been buying and using Snap-on tools for most of my life. There is no comparison to other companies when it comes to quality. Mechanics like me pay a lofty premium for Snap On tools off the truck. We pay a lot more than what Sears charges for Craftsman. I agreed to re-assemble the computer myself if they would extend the warranty to 3 years. Over the next year multiple components failed, including all 3 of the hard drives, video card, and fans. I asked the manager if he would turn the air down with this response, "The temperature of the store is controlled in Florida." After trying them on and seeing if they were going to be comfortable and upon arriving at the check-out was advised that the shoes would be $25.00. A far cry from the rack price. You can file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission which oversees companies such as this one. They WILL respond - I just received a confirmation from them about the complaint I filed. I was very clear in speaking with him when they were to be delivered and I provided written instructions too. He assured me he knew what he was doing. This "company" called me today, using an automated calling service that then transferred me to a live agent. Supposedly the call was in regard to my interest rates. I asked them what financial institution they were affiliated with -- I have only one credit card which is with a local bank. They said Visa and Mastercard. It smelled bad, so I asked them for their phone number. They told me it was 888-879-2223. When I called the number back to verify the company name, the number belonged to a porn site. I filled out the rebate form which was on the sales receipt and mailed off the form mid November 2006. When calling best buy they gave me the website for Moduslink.
