Typical telemarketing scam where they make it seem as if you've won something but to qualify for your winnings you have to buy something. But the real scam comes when they get your credit card number anf then sign you up for more over priced subscriptions than you bought in first place. And that's for five years by the way. I am writing because the Woonsocket store & get Distilled Water --and they never have any water on hand. The manager of the store should order the water but this is totally ridiculous as we have to go to Providence Wal*Mart near the VA Hospital to get some. My daughter rented a tv. They called and asked for payment asked them to wait for 2 days when she got paid. This was on Thurs. Her daughter got sick and she had to take her to the ER 2 days later which was Sat. 11/24, while she was gone the manager called and spoke to my 73 year old mom with no respect. Since the change of ownership from Hucth to Vodaphone, things have fallen flat for Vodaphone customers. I get to hear this from all my friends who were brand loyal to Hutch. Its very hard to understand, how come the same guys with Hutch did a better job and not with Vodaphone. I guess it has to do something with the aptitude you enter a market. I recently returned an item with the receipt. I asked for store credit but they told me it had been over 90 days and I couldn't return it. It was not a seasonal item and they carry it all the time. I am a person who keeps all receipts. This tells me that I would have been better off to take it in without a receipt. At least I could have gotten my store credit. Hello, I had baught the Tata Indicomm USB modem, but the internet speed is pathetic. Moreover the service is pathetic. I had complained n number of times but no satisfactory resolution. Moreover, my connection was disconnected, and I was asked to pay 1000+ rupees, though my bill was merely 350. After I paid my bill, I requested to connect my service, but still it is not connected. Next bill had already come, which is again 250 only, I am not sure why they were asking 1000 bugs. I have been complaining about the batery of the instrument supplied to me but i am not getting the problem solved. The staff of ahmedabad office agtreed that the batery was faulty and i was given assurance that they will change the batery however after complaining for more than three time i did not get the problem solved. On 8/14/07 I called Earthlink to cancel my e-mail account with them. I spoke to someone there who took my information and he gave me a confirmation # of 13069074. In Sept. of 07 I received a bill from Bill Me Later of $21.00. I mailed a denial of payment along with my confirmation number. In November I received a letter stating that Earthlink had denied that I ever canceled. I was told that I must pay the bill.
