I would not recommend H.H.Gregg for any appliance purchase. Their models all seem to be one and two years old. Many of them have major problems within the first two years. The extended warranties are not factory or manufacturer backed. They are held by some GE concern that has no consideration for the customers concerns and frustration at the lack of proper repair and maintenance. The service company that is used in the Cleveland area not factory or manufacturer trained. They are poorly trained on one model and lost on any other. I recently bought (about 6 mos.ago) a Mr. Coffee 12 cup programmable coffee maker, I went to make my coffee this morning and no coffee! It stopped perking and the heating element went out on it. I just recently read that the mr. coffee plant laid off 390 workers and moved their plant to mexico. I have made many purchases at The Plant Shed in Mansfield Texas over the years. The first time that a shrub I purchased didn't make it, I carried the dead plant to the store for a refund or credit. I had lost the original receipt but made a copy of my AMEX statement showing two purchases within the last three months. I had registered a complaint at whirlpool customer care on 14th June 2008 that, the Elite250 refrigerator which I own from 2004 is not cooling. However the occupants of New Minal Residency are facing problems as water tankers move around blocking roads and spilling water making road side muddy. I ordered RED azaleas and dogwood trees from TY TY Nursery. They sent pink and did not acknowledge my complaint. I sent 2 letters, my cancelled check and photos of the pink flowers. No we have a red tiled swimming pool with nasty PINK flowers around it. It looks awful. Purchase a Maytag dryer 2 years and 2 months ago. The dryer stopped working. Had Sears out to take a look and they took the dryer apart and found that the outer drum had a six inch crack in the drum. Likey a manufacturing defect that finally got so bad the dryer failed. I called Maytag and they did NOTHING. Thought it perfectly acceptable that a two year old dryer failed by a larger crack in the outer drum (the one that is outside and not visible unless it is taken apart). Powell did not return to do the job as promised and used the money for his own use. We completely re-did our kitchen using all Jenn Air products, because I liked their oven. More than 2 months ago, Stahls Glass came and measured all nine windows on one side of my house. The windows are large, expensive, and were stained from water damage inside them. Stahl's removed the windows to use as a template for the replacements, and put in plywood temporarily. I paid them half, $640, as a deposit. They were supposed to complete the job in 3 days. I bought my Gaggenau 290 convection/conventional oven about 2 1/2 years ago and recently the interior window on the oven door shattered into a thousands of tiny pieces. The oven was preheating at a temp of 375 at the time, the door was closed and the oven had been on for about 10 minutes.
