I purchased a lawnmower at K-Mart last August. After one use it broke and would not stay running. We were told to take it to Sears in Vineland for repairs. (We purchased the warranty agreement.) This company has serious customer service issues. I called for an a/c service call, and was told a tech would come that day, and that I would be contacted with a window of time (eg 2-4pm). After waiting 3.5 hours, I called to find out a time window, and the tech arrived an hour later. I purchased 2 leather recliners 2 months ago (June). I received them in 3 weeks. I rejected one of them because it was delivered to me with a tear in the leather. Columbia Construction Services and David Schatzberg and Mark Provenzano are crooks. This group of crooks failed to pay us over $25, 000 after we performed subcontract work for them. It took us over 6 months to get over $40, 000 that they owed us and we had to get that money directly from the owner of the job. These guys are total crooks. They stopped answering the phone and returning phone calls when someone did answer the phone. Beware all subcontractors, this company is a bunch of crooks, they will keep your money. I bought 2 Mainstays hanging baskets on 4/210, plus 4 bags of mulch and potting soil and borders from the garden center. On 4/3/10 when I was putting the hanging handles on the baskets 1 handle broke completely off on 2 straps so I could not use one as a hanging basket. I was not going to unpot my plant to return the basket. I have always bought from your Garden Centen for years with no problems with the products or plants. I have also sent friends there as well. The worst service I ever had !!! I had ordered a control panel on 1/20/2010 and wrong part was shipped. These guys are a bunch of crooks, they steal money from subcontractors and cause problems for owners in the form of liens and complaints by subcontractors. These Crooks David Schatzberg and Mark Provenzano failed to pay us over $25, 000 and it took us over 6 months to get over $40, 000 that they owed us. They are every subcontractors' nightmare, do them an excellent job and they keep a good chunk of your money at the end of the job. We bought a split AC unit in April for an addition to our house. Installation was costly and in late July the compressor went out. We had a licensed AC tech out and sent the report to Ramsond and we can't get an answer out of them. They are having to "think" about whether they are going to replace the compressor. When Atlas Appliances delivered my new Fridge, Stove and dishwasher, the dishwasher not only arrived in what I believe was a used appliance state but it leaked when hooked up. They refused to take the appliance back. Pretty good scam, deliver a used leaking dishwasher to a customer expecting a new one, then refuse to take it back. I have a Samsung fridge that freezes everything in the fridge side. I have reset the temp to 46F and put a thermometer in the fridge and goes to 32F while the setting shows 46+F. Have called a tech to look at it...he's not here yet, but this does seem to be a common problem. read full review »

I purchased a refridgerator put it in a rental unit and did not realize that it was not working property. 6 months in, once i had a tenant they reported it as broken and the Sears torture started. My situation was resolved rather easily but I wanted to let others know what had happened. My electric and gas is combined on one account with Alliant Energy and the bill was due on March 25th. In the showroom, they told us 7 to 10 days to get the furniture. We opted to pick it up ourselves. I called the day after I was in the showroom to finalize the order, on March 1st. That day I was told 10 to 14 days to get the furniture. 10 days later, I called and was told it would be there in the middle of the following week. I recently put $800 down on a 65'' HDTV and purchased a stand for $300 cash from Arron's Rent-to-own. The delivery time was scheduled between 4-7pm. The delivery guys finally showed up right at 7 which was fine, but when they unloaded the truck, they only brought the TV (which was damaged). they didn't bring the TV remote or the stand that I purchased! Purchased an MTD riding lawn mower at Home Depot. Found out MTD manufactures most brands found in big box stores including Cub Cadet. This mower was trouble from the beginning. It immediately started requiring fresh belts. This was a 46" machine, so, belt replacement was somewhat more complicated. We had a carpet defect issue and also a seam repair issue where the carpet was cut into and patched by Wayne Wiles (Lennar’s Contractor). We immediately issued a complaint. In the year 2008 i purchased a Sofa set from the aforesaid company with the cost of Rs.17600/-(On approx). During the time of Sale the shop executive gave "N" no. of promises regarding their service. We originally purchased a king size Orthopedic chiro KG mattress & box springs from American Frieght on April 4, 2009. By the time I would have paid restocking fee, the fee for shipping table to my home and return shipping I would have been left with around 200.00, They offered no compromise. Stearns & Foster matress set, Worth Avenue, paid almost $2K. This is a "FIRM" mattress and within a year and a half has turned into mush. Do not deal with this company. I have had nothing but trouble and floods since they installed a "watergrabber" in my basement. The last storm the pump failed to activate. When I called I had to wait for 6 hrs. for a return call while my basement filled with water. When I finally got a call back the "technician" told me I needed a different type of system. I unplugged and re-plugged, as soon as the pump started the water went away. Now I have been waiting for 2 days for a call as the pump alarm went off and I have no idea why. Basement again flooded.
