Plumstead Window Company
November 3, 2006
I live in Plumstead in South East London, over the weekend (14&15th October 2006) one of my bedroom windows got smashed. On Sunday I called a local window company to quote me a price to fix the damage. I asked for this quote twice to make sure i had it correctly. The gentleman on the phone asked me a series of questions which included. Is the window up stairs or down, plain glass or patterned double or single glazed. My window is approximatly 3ft tall and 1.5ft wide upstairs plain single glazed glass. I gave the gentleman thi... read full review »

Alexis Park Resort and Spa
November 3, 2006
We attended a conference at the Alexis Park Resort and Spa in Las Vegas in October. When we arrived the conference of what would be about 160 of us had already started. Right away we were told that the Secretary of the groups room had been broken into and that conference registration money had been stolen. Unbelievably at 4:30 am that morning I was woken by a loud noise and yelled at my husband to wake up that someone was breaking into our room. I opened the door from the bedroom to the bathroom to find a woman in our bathroom! I... read full review »

Days Inn - Sacramento
November 2, 2006
I stayed at the Days Inn Sacramento on 10/28/06. The people in the room next to me were loud all night long. I called the front desk to complain at 12:30 am, 2 am, and 3:45 am. I was told secrity was sent over to talk to them but the partying did not stop until 4:30 am. Needless to say I did not get much sleep that night. I have written emails to my travel booking agent, the corporate office and the hotel itself. I have heard nothing back yet. I feel they should have put me in another room or kicked those people out if they were not going to sleep. I am also asking for a complete refund. read full review »

My husband purchased a truck from AFS that already had a lift kit prior to purchase. A few months ago, we noticed noises coming from the front end. We found out, after 1000.00 dollars of repair work, that out lift was welded on our truck frame. Many mechanics have said that lift kits have to be bolted on, not welded on! The shock towers have broke off the frame & taken chunks of the frame with it. We have been told by our insurance company yo park it. We wnt back to AFS to see if they wanted to fix this problem, and after a full day we... read full review »

November 2, 2006
I brought my Harley in for some additions, (chrome, etc) realizing they ordered some wrong parts I told them not to add them. not only did they charge me restocking fees for the wrong parts they ordered, but my bill was even more than the original estimate. then they installed the whole front end wrong. it vibrated badly, I brought it back and they said it was low tire pressure, when I had it checked somewhere else turns out, the bearings were locked solid and had major work done to remove them replace them and get it to not vibrate. read full review »

Joe Rivera of Men@Site
November 2, 2006
I entered into an agreement with Mr. Joe Rivera, President of the company Men@Site to do a total gut renovation on my home in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, N.Y. He is a short stocky Hispanic man with a short hair cut. He drives a Hummer and works with his father who drives a white van with the words Men@Site painted on the sides of the van. While I was interviewing Mr. Rivera for the job he was very pleasant, on time, and answered my calls and returned my calls within a reasonable amount of time. Vijay Sales / LG LCD
November 2, 2006
Vijay Sales had a One-Day offer of a LG LCD Screen for 619990/- only. What a drop from 74000/-! But, obviously, we grabbed it after being much convinced by the smart VS. Borivali salesman that we couldn't get a better product at such an offer later. 3 days later, we walk into the outlet to make the balance payment and we realize that the same screen is now on an offer of 59490/-. We dismissed it, but decided to check with the same smart dude, thinking its a mistake. What I must not forget to mention is the absolutely callous, indifferent... read full review »

Fairmont Hotel - San Jose
November 2, 2006
I booked a two (2) night stay at this hotel as a surprize for my husband who just returned from Malaysia. Upon check in I was charged twice for over $800.00 + $50.00 for a parking fee. The next day I couldn't use my debit card, I was "over my limit". I called my bank and was told that the Fairmont had put authorizations of nearly $1800.00 on my card! I went to the front desk to complain and called from our mini-suite. They sent up a couple cigars for my husband, but couldn't resolve the problem for my debit card. So... read full review »

I have used sony’s products all my life and I have only run into 2 that caused rather expensive issues. First was a MD walkman that after a few months stopped making disks, the support told me to reinstall the drivers and that still didn't work but they wouldn't exchange it under there warranty. So I have a stack of useless disks and a nice paper weight that cost me $300. After we go back on the ship, we noticed scratches on the back of the watch where the model and serial #s were etched in. It was curious that the only scratches (all close to gether) were in that spot. It would appear as if someone had deliberately tried to remove those numbers. Our concern is for warranty coverage. We had purchased a few jewelery items from Bheema jewelers for a wedding, only to find out later that all the items were fraudulent. Do you have any idea how annoying this procedure is? What if you don't have a fax machine at home? Is Verizon suggesting some one set up this big project on the job? The job they want to keep? You should not be faxing or recieving personal things at work. Buying a fax for home use is out of the question. I've been trying to get a reply from Verizon since 9/06. read full review »
