I bought a Dell Inspiron in 2003. Over the years, about every eight to nine months, the computer would overheat and randomly shut down. I would lose information. My email would get messed up because of it. Each time, tech support would send someone out to replace the faulty fan. It occurred again 1 day before my warranty expired. I have found a discrepancy between my credit available and the actual amount of money that I spent for the last days. I immediately called my bank, and they told me that 5 (five) unauthorized charges of $125 were put on my credit card. The name of the company was MFI/My Family. I canceled my credit card, and the bank will conduct their investigation. It appears that there are many cases of fraud with credit cards related to MFI/My Family, and they have been doing it for many months. WHY NOBODY CAN STOP THEM??? read full review »

AIG stated that my husband filled out a credit card form for me with HSBC to receive a Master card. Today I received a call at work from HSBC for late payment. Once I inquired about it there were charges from AIG (HSBC's insurance provider). This appears to be a SCAM. AIG is pretending to know about the charge and pretending that my husband verbally OK'd the insurance (which he never did) and HSBC is charging me (including late charges) for a service from AIG (their partner) that I never approved. I live in the Dallas Tx area and have a complaint about a locally based company called Benchmark. We signed up with this company when our daughter was getting ready to start looking at college at a cost of $1600. Supposedly they were going to help us find scholarship resources to help pay college expenses. Of course they promised us the moon but we ended up with nothing. I experienced an large overcharge on my Master Card from this company called Aflorists in Mississauga, Ontario. They also go under the name of Gifts, Flowers, Bridal as well as Blooms & Roses. The gentlemen who answers the phone is extremely evasive, rude and abrasive if you are calling to complain. He places you on hold for 10 minutes at a time and refuses to provide receipts to customers once they have placed an order. I had a purchase at Moda River Edge 1001 Main Street on around 9/2/2006 with my invoice #138704. I paid total $3209.06 which included a sofa set, dining table with 4 sides chairs and coffee table. I had signed up with HindiFlix for a 14 day trial period of DVD rental on 8/29/2006. I canceled the service before the trial period ended on 9/11/2006. They still charged me $19.95 indicating that my trial period had ended on 9/10/2006. I am not sure how they got to that date. They not only charged me once but twice. When I asked them to refund both charges, they said that they were only aware of one charge and that they were not going to refund it. I am using AIRTEL mobile sim no 9928072924 ( Rajsthan). I came to Ahmedabad ( Gujarat state ) on 20.10.2006 and requested airtel customer care in Jaipur to put m mobile in roaming as it is used for Co's work and i reuire it to be always on for being contacted. Unfortunately the request was logged 4 times and huge amount of Rs.600/- spent on STD calls to Jaipur customer care but no action taken. Only it was told every time that roaming will be activated in next 2 hours , which did not happen. Such pathetic and intolerable service is not seen and experienced. read full review »

I purchased hardwood flooring through “The Hardwood Floor Depot” which was manufactured by Craftco Hardwood Floors of Ohio. The flooring is a 5" wide prefinished Tongue and Groove Hickory material. The planks are supposed to be manufactured in accordance to NOFMA standards which provides for a tolerance of plus or minus ten thousandths of an inch variation in the face width of the boards. A deposit was paid to "Leons Mobile Transport" towards moving a mobile home, complications occured on our part, and the job was delayed. I spoke with his assistant (his wife? "Beverly") last Thursday, and she indicated that Leon wanted to cancel the job and just refund our money. Since then they have failed to respond to our Faxed letters, and I spoke with Leon tonight who indicated that a "letter" was being sent to me that "explained everything"... We did check our RCI confirmation letter and it stated it was for a 1 bedroom with two sofas. When we arrived the rooms did not have this accomadation or at least they stated that they did not have it available. That is when the clerk offered the extra room at no charge. Then, at check out we had to pay for the extra room for all 7 days of our stay. We were mislead and we did not find out until we checked out of the Il Poggio. In June of 2005. My fiancee and i purchased a Shar-pei from the Rutherfords. After spending $950 dollars on the dog, we have since learned about all of her genetic deffects. Today we recieved the worst news, a tumor, yet to be determined as to if it is malignant or not. this is just the last of several problems, umbilical hernia, shar-pei fever, tacking of eyes surgery, dislocating knees. nearly $4,000 later in vet bills here we are. These breeders are absolutley horrible people. They refuse to take any responsibility for their poor dogs or their horrible business and life values. Tour operator Armas Hill (Focus On Nature Tours, Inc., Wilmington, Delaware) was paid well for a birding tour of Newfoundland, Canada, in July 2006. We purchased three pieces of granite and one cabinet all full price. The cabinet was installed with a dent in the side. We purchased a new cabinet (not a second hand cabinet). We also requested a cap to go on the side of the cabinet (this would cover the dent). However, Zabi stated he would not install the in cap. He also stated that he could not meet our standards. My son and daughter-in-law contracted with Victory M&S out of Brooklyn,NY (same co. as All Victory) The move was from Boston to Seattle. The moving crew in Boston showed up a day early and gave them the bums rush intimidating them into packing quickly. The crew (thugs)were trashing their belongings as they loaded them. My contract states " After June 19, 2006, the seller may notify Agent in writing to terminate this agreement." Never pay your bill online through Cox, never. I paid my bill online $124.81 whatever the amount and Cox took out $240.19! Now I could see it if there was one number off, but every number. I believe that they purposely removed that money out of my account. They said that I would be reimbursed within 48 or 72 hours. No reimbursement and now they say that I need to do it from my bank. The electronics business is deceiving the public when it come to HDTV, HDTV is set at 1080,1080i,1080p Yet it seems common practice for companies to advertise EDTV as HDTV it is not, EDTV is 720,720i,720p which means 720 lines as opposed 1080 lines in HDTV the difference is the same as Night and Day . My complaint is about the model ep-923 euro pro shark professional steamer, i was given a steamer for christmas 05, i used it 4 -5 times and it quit steaming, and euro pro wants me to send it to plattsburg new york, for repair. UPS wants to charge $51.00 to send it.. And i read other complaints that spent their money to send products to euro and have never recieved them back???? They show you the models and dont tell you what is included (no signs or anything) in the model and if they do tell that something is included if you ask the other sale person they say its not. After getting 5 quotes for prices on moving, I had an offer to match lower prices if I paid cash, also he would remove snow as he also owned snow plowing business, I agreed, but was lied to.
