Polaris 55o Supersport
Pinedrop March 18, 2009
In the spring of 2005 we bought a Polaris 50th Anniversary Edition 550 Supersport. The first year we put maybe 400-500 miles on it (Jan/06 to Mar /06, only used it about 4 Xs the /07 season. The /08 season is when our troubles started in Feb /08 my husband took it on a 3 day 300 mile trip when he was returning the bolt in the crankcase shirred off bounced around and did damage to the crankcase and parts inside. Pimsleur Approach/ Internet Order LLC.
Ann March 18, 2009
I bought the Pimsluer language learning product. I only want to try the starter kit of $9.95. Be careful with the box that is already checked at the bottom of your order page. They will send you another program for $236. They charge you because they have your credit card number. I cancelled my credit card number I used to order pimsleur. When I called the company in order to return the product, I was instructed to wait for the return shipping label. This company tried to contact me a month later because the credit card has been declined. I wa... read full review »

FAST TRACK
Sick&Tired March 18, 2009
A company that has currently popped up on job sites is FAST TRACK, which is exactly like SMI, except they sell home remodeling products. I saw the posting on erecruiting.com, and they said they did "Promotional Marketing" (I love how these pathetic companies use various marketing and sales terms to validate their actual strategy. You're a door-to-door sales company, and future prospects are eventually going to find out what you do, so just tell them). They also falsely led me to believe they pay an annual base salary. So I thought... read full review »

Probiotic Complete
Cheryl March 18, 2009
Recently while reviewing the Biggest Loser website, I checked out one of the advertisements for the Probiotic supplement. This product was being touted along with the Nature's Acai Berry Supplement which Oprah, Dr. Oz and Rachel Ray were all touting as wonderful. Perhaps the product is good however the "Free Sample" "just pay shipping" offer is a total lie! All the big bold print surrounding the offer makes it appear as though you can try the product risk free and for the cost of shipping alone. What they don't tell... read full review »

Yes. I'm a fool. I was fooled by the legitimacy of their well-done site. I stupidly gave them my credit card info in order to *supposedly* pay for shipping on some information on a home business kit they were to send me. I was to receive a "confirmation" via email (which I have never received to this day) The following day I received a phone call from a somewhat English-impaired individual asking me to authorize a $39.95 a month charge on my credit card. AIG Sun America

When my wife lost her job last year, the income reduction left us perilously close to home foreclose. In a last-ditch attempt to stave it off, I contacted AIG to cash out my Sun America annuity February 27 thus beginning a pattern of call-and-stall which I can only conclude was deliberate and methodical. The AIG representative did send me the form I requested which I immediately filled out, had notarized and faxed to the number given before noon that Friday. Three hours later I tried calling for confirmation (I had been asked for a PIN... read full review »

When I arrived at the hertz return to turn in the car I mentioned that I had had a flat tire. The manager opened the trunk, looked at the tire. Never took it out of the trunk. I just got some 'weight loss' pills that I did not order. Earlier this month, my credit card company called me to issue me a new card because of suspected 'unauthorized access' and a potential security breach of my credit card information. Not a first in the maintenance agreement industry. You get a phone call, you negotiate, (well, Sears TELLS you) how much you are going to pay for a new maintenance agreement. This company charges a $3 fee for paying online using a credit card. I had heard that this was illegal, so I contacted my credit card company (MasterCard), which told me it was illegal 99.9% of the time, leaving the .1% to a payment arrangement through a third party agent. In this age of technology and automated payment software, I would think this is not only unethical, but unfair. As for the legality, I'm not an expert in this area, but common sense tells me it should be. Sincerely, JD read full review »
