My Lovely Nails
RadO77 August 28, 2009
For 1 year I have been getting my nails done at " MY LOVELY NAILS ". Wensday I went in to get a fill with acrylic. The man was very rude. Pulling my hand telling me to quit moving. A few hours later my cuticles started itching and I noticed bumps on my finger tips and cuticles. I called another lady (whom i trust) she told me to get my nails off right away. I made an apt for the next day. She looked at my nails and said they could have used an illeagel product on your nails. As she was repairing my nails she noticed I had bump... read full review »

My 16 year old daughter was scheduled for a Coposcopy, a procedure to see if you may have cervical cancer, on September 10, 2007 at 1130am with Lew-Ann Lenfest, Nurse Practitioner at Douglas Womens Center . My husband was all set to bring her to the appointment because I was completely swamped at work and unable to bring her myself; however, I received a call from him at 10:00am stating that his supervisor was bringing him to the ER for stitches in his hand from an accident at work and he is not able to bring her any longer. Pierre Day Spa
AlexD81 August 28, 2009
The new owner of this once Wonderful day spa has decided not to honor any gift certificates that were sold in 2006, but have not yet expired. In fact when I spoke with the owner on the phone she hung up on me not once, but three times. She even threatened to call the police on me if I continued to call her. What kind of a business owner does that! You would think that the new owners would want to keep the existing clients while seeking new ones. This day spa has been sold three times in the last 5 years and each previous owner alway... read full review »

I thought I had found a truly "Customer Service" oriented company. HA! Upon receipt of my order, I found that one of the items was defective. After speaking with the company on the telephone, I was informed that I needed to return the item (my expense) and they would credit my online account for the price of the item. NOT my credit card, my online account. This means I have to order from them AGAIN to get my credit. Why would I want to order again from a company that has a crappy policy like that? It's not my fault that their... read full review »

On 4/7/09, I answered an ad for a makeup artist from TXAMA. I went into the school to meet with Amber, their Talent Coordinator, about working on a photoshoot they were having the weekend of 4/25 - 4/26/09. I was to be one of 3 makeup artists working those days, and was to be paid $100/day. I worked on 4/25 & 4/26, but had to leave 1 hour before the shoot ended on 4/26. (I advised them that morning that I had a conflict with another job, and needed to leave a little bit early.) The other crew who were at the shoot were paid on 4/26... read full review »

Sound Structures, Inc. based out of Wicomico Church, Virginia is a terrible place to work for. I was belittled by the crew leaders and worked like a dog with no break. Needless to say, I quit the first day. I attempted to call Rex O. Jones, III repeatedly on the phone and never got an answer. This was the same person who hired me. After leaving several voicemails asking to please be paid for the day of work I put in, I sent a certified letter documenting my hours and requesting that my wages be paid. Mission Pools
Trumpy August 28, 2009
We had Mission Pools build a pool for us and most of the process was OK, but the plaster turned out horrible. Two of their own staff people commented on how bad it is when the pool was first completed, and now we cannot get them to take care of it. They promise a multi-year warranty, and now we do not get any answers as to how they plan to resolve it. That is lots of money to not get a good resolution. read full review »

Bar Pitti
ManD81 August 28, 2009
Service is the pits at Bar Pitti . I ate dinner here on Saturday night with friends. After we finished eating our entree, the host asked if we would like dessert and rattled off the options. He came back a minute later to see if we had decided. I said, not yet, and asked for another minute to decide. He actually said no. When I looked at him confused he so kindly explained that "this is Bar Pitti" and made it clear he wanted to turn the table. The rest of our evening was spoiled because we felt so rushed. It's one thing to want to... read full review »

WORST MEAL IN MANHATTAN!! This place is the worst - what a shame, cuz it's premise is great - all local NY food. The service was so bad, we must have been sitting for 20 minutes before we got our menus and then another 20 minutes for water. Of course - the food came out late (and yucky - my fish was both overcooked and undercooked at the same time), and so on... the restaurant was LOUD and our waiter (when he was around) was absurdly soft spoken.. they did make an attempt to replace my meal and comp-ed us some wine -... read full review »

Should have known better ... you get what you pay for, but I did it anyway. It's one of those sites where you upload your photo and then try on different hairstyles ... so you'll know in advance what will look okay ... before getting it cut or styled. I paid the 9.99 and uploaded a photo, which was too large. They state on their site how quickly they will respond if your photo is too large or doesn't upload. Ten requests, two weeks later and I still haven't been able to utilize their site. They charged my card and... read full review »

Capanis Networks, located on Lafayette street in New York, is, unfortunately, one of the worst telecom providers that I've ever had to deal with. Their network goes down more than anyone's should and what's worse is they don't have 24 hour tech support and they don't return calls. ForSaleByOwner.com sounded like a good thing when we decided to sell our high end waterfront home. $50K+ for realtors' fees didn't sound attractive. Ouch. We received a fair amount of inquiries in the first several weeks from our ForSaleByOwner.Com listing. It started to peter out and they recommended we use the MLS. We even used their MLS listing agent which after discussions with the "owner" I felt actually was part and parcel of them, as an MLS listing is quite expensive, and it was peanuts through them.
