I purchased a Kenmore Elite Trio refrigerator in April 2004. This weekend we were hearing loud thumping noises coming from the refrigerator and earlier that afternoon, the top refrigerator portion of the unit died. These people outright lied telling us we would have health insurance for my father with a preexisting condition covered at 100% with no waiting period and $30 co-pays for Dr. visits. My mother bought a Maytag washing machine on November 2, 2004 at Home Depot. Eight months after buying the machine she had to have a Maytag service provider come to replace the belt. Just three days ago, one year and six weeks after buying the machine it broke. This has been the worst home improvement supplier I have ever delt with. Their customer service is awful. No retrun call, no return emails. Just awful. On July 6th I purchased 6 boxes of PRBAMHC Bamboo flooring. I installed the first 5 boxes and the floor looked great. I currently pay over 30$ a month for Payment Mortgage Insurance for a home loan that was 80,000 at time of loan. When I was closing on loan, loan officer said "PMI will be removed when remainder of loan is 80% or less of home value." Within 2 years, the value of house had exceeded that amount. I have used sony’s products all my life and I have only run into 2 that caused rather expensive issues. First was a MD walkman that after a few months stopped making disks, the support told me to reinstall the drivers and that still didn't work but they wouldn't exchange it under there warranty. During a dental emergency that was going to be $3500.00 that insurance did not cover. The dentist had an option, GE MONEY BANK. With not much choice it sounded like a good idea and GE was a name you can trust. That was a mistake. I contracted Champion to replace my rear deck, almost all windows in my home and to build on a two-story sun room. Problems: 1. I received a letter from Hyundai Motor America that my 2000 Tiburon was recalled due to a potential crack in the exhaust manifold. I was stationed in Germany at the time, so I called Hyundai to find out what I could do. As many have I bought something in good faith off Ebay, Paid ASAP only to find out the seller/vendor didn't have listed item nor did they have any coming to fill previously sold listings. I am a long haul truck driver, I wanted a camera cell phone, I went into U S Cellular explained who I was, what I already had and what I wanted, they supposedly gave me everything I had on my old plan plus the camera phone and more minutes etc. for LESS than what I was paying now which was $120.00 per month. Ok, this is what happened... My husband and I signed up with cingular and we agreed that 1000 minutes would be more than enough. We were previously with Sprint and had 8oo minutes with them. We never in all 3 years with Sprint went over those 800 minutes. However, with Cingular, we were charged over $400 for the first month! We purchased a washer & dryer August 2004. The dryer stopped working three months after purchase. I've contacted the local Furnitture Fair store on numerous occasions. I have tried unsuccessfully to transfer my lease to my friend since late June. They have continually misplaced, miscommunicated and totally mishandled this transfer with total incompetentance, particularly Sofia! I stayed at the Days Inn Sacramento on 10/28/06. The people in the room next to me were loud all night long. I called the front desk to complain at 12:30 am, 2 am, and 3:45 am. I was told secrity was sent over to talk to them but the partying did not stop until 4:30 am. Needless to say I did not get much sleep that night. I disconnected my phone service with Hawaiian Telcom on April 21,2006. I am still receiving bills for the very same telephone number that was disconnected (It is now October). I booked a two (2) night stay at this hotel as a surprize for my husband who just returned from Malaysia. Upon check in I was charged twice for over $800.00 + $50.00 for a parking fee. My husband purchased a truck from AFS that already had a lift kit prior to purchase. A few months ago, we noticed noises coming from the front end. We found out, after 1000.00 dollars of repair work, that out lift was welded on our truck frame. Many mechanics have said that lift kits have to be bolted on, not welded on! I brought my Harley in for some additions, (chrome, etc) realizing they ordered some wrong parts I told them not to add them. not only did they charge me restocking fees for the wrong parts they ordered, but my bill was even more than the original estimate. then they installed the whole front end wrong. it vibrated badly, I brought it back and they said it was low tire pressure, when I had it checked somewhere else turns out, the bearings were locked solid and had major work done to remove them replace them and get it to not vibrate. read full review »

After we go back on the ship, we noticed scratches on the back of the watch where the model and serial #s were etched in. It was curious that the only scratches (all close to gether) were in that spot. It would appear as if someone had deliberately tried to remove those numbers. Our concern is for warranty coverage.
