Aarons have tried to rob me blind and given me rude customer service. I went into a contract with Aaron's on new merchandise and ended up receiving used furniture. Also on the day of delivery, the used furniture was damaged. I had to go back and forth with staff, convincing them that the furniture was not brand new. Whatever you do if these cold callers call you. They trap you and say that you already have a listing with them and want to renew. I never signed and agreed to anything and yet I get an invoice in the mail for some absorbent amount. I called the customer service and they gave me the run around. I have a subscription to Rhapsody. It is paid for automatically on my American Express Card. When reviewing my bill, I saw where I was also charged for Realarcade Subscription and Superpass. About two weeks ago I contacted Embarq service to inquire as to why my dsl service was now operating at the slow speed of dial-up tho I pay for hi speed dsl. Tech support had no solution for this problem, except to cut off and restart my modem. This had no effect at all. But just today I received an "offer" from Embarq to provide an increase in speed---for an additional $5.00 per month. I smell a rat and and a scam by Embarq. I received phone calls at home stating that I will be sent a $25 gift certificate for Walmart. They ask for address verification and stated my address. Then stated that I would also get a $200.oo gift certificate to one of their other affiliated stores such as Walmart, Target, etc. I then needed to verify that I had used my credit card Number such and such to purchase a book a couple of days ago. Do not be scammed by EAS (Expungement Assistance Services.) Their web sites are www.removeit.org and www.clearmyrecord.com. I personally had a problem with my criminal record that should have been a slam dunk for them to correct. After calling and using Imagination.WS, their other domain web designing services I was extremely disappointed. I ordered a website originally during December of 2007, after a few weeks I was assigned to a web developer (this was after several nasty emails) then nothing ever got done. I had to call again and again and finally they assign me a web designer, but the work produced was terrible. I would not recommend Imagination.VG to anybody. On Dec 7, 2007 we discontinued our service with WildBlue Communications. We were told that their would be no additional charges to our account. Shortly after we were charged $49.95 to our account. On Jan 16, 2008, WildBlue charged $214.62 to our account (debit card). In doing so, it caused a overdraft at our bank. In turn, our bank charged us fees in the amt of $50.00. I read the complaints about FASTHOSTS web hosting services too late to prevent what I consider fraudulent charges to be taken from my credit card. The service is terrible. They take subscription payments and fail to record on your account. Onlyafter proof-of-payment, and considerable effort and expense on phone, do they activate the account. I hired the moving company Jan '07. They demanded cash up front, unlike the Visa/Master Card advertised. They did not have the proper equipment to move us from Des Moines to Cedar Rapids Iowa.
