I recently purchased a $10 international calling card on ozprepaidcards.com.au so I could ring to South Africa. After registering for the service it took 2 weeks to get my activation code in the post. After activating this and finally figuring out how to find where the access numbers on are on the site I attempted to make a call. Spectrotel contacted me by phone and offered to beat whatever I was paying for my current phone service. I agreed to switch over to their company once we came to an agreement of how much I would pay for the service. They have a 3rd party Verification, and they repeat those prices, and then its over and you are done- you now have Spectrotel. I have been a customer of Xanadoo since August of 2008. I have used the same credit card for my automatic payment since my enrollment. Now it is April 2009, all of a sudden my credit card doesn't pay the bill. Well this would be understandable if I had exceeded my limit on the card or it had expired. Not the issue here. After a long wait on the phone, someone finally tells me it was refused by my card company for an address issue. I have not moved or changed anything. Being cautious of moving companies I checked several before settling on Royal. The agent came out and explained all the costs and gave me a fair estimate and even personally boxed a thick glass shelf for me. Later that evening he called and said he re-estimated the cost and reduced it by $300.00. He swore that they would pick up on Aug 6 and deliver from California to Idaho between 9 to 16 at latest. ATTENTION! Do not ever buy video games at this store! This store is horrible. They're the worst video game store I have ever experienced. They have poor customer service and a racist manager. I had my nails done at this salon on December 29, 2004. The person that did my nails did not put the nails on right, I went back the next day because the nails were curved upwards in the air. She cut the nails (false nails) with scissors instead of the proper nail cutter, for the desired lenght I wanted. They did not look right at all. I wanted my money back and the lady refused. I ordered a toner cartage and when it arrived most of the toner had managed to come out of the cartridge, and end up all over the inside of the box and all over my clothing when one opened the box. Toner does not come out of clothing easy. When I called them I was told that the would ship out the new one but they did not replace defective cartridge, and if they sent one out to me I would have to pay the return postage on a defective cartridge, or they would charge my credit card for the second one sent out. In June of this year I filed a claim to the TSA re damage to a musical instrument while in the care of the TSA. My equipment was broken, looked like it had been dropped on the floor. My music keyboard was broken, case of the keyboard was cracked ... and the circuit board inside was cracked. A wall wart power supply, the plastic case was not even there, just the raw transformer had been thrown into the case. The website "Todayswriter.com" offers online courses on writing. I paid for 6 courses and not able to access them at all. I sent several emails to every department they have listed on their website and get NO response back from anyone. I paid a total of $300.00 and not getting any service or access to the courses I signed up for. They have ripped me off. From what I found out Larry Bowden is the CEO, John (William) Thompson is an instructor for them, and there is another associate named, John Carter. This complaint is no doubt accurate; my experience with Silver Creek was similar, although I saw them from the side of being a supplier. The principle (Mr. Clodfelter) passed away suddenly in March of '05 and my firm took possession of the URL and began running Labeloutlet.com shortly afterwards, partially because of funds owed to us. I recently placed an order for a attache' case for my fathers Christmas present. I placed the order on December 9th, 2008 over the internet, recieved conformation, etc. When on December 23, I began to wonder where the attache' case was, I checked the status of my order and it had been CANCELLED!!!. I had not received any phone call, email, or other correspondance to alert me that their was an issue with my order. This is a horrible business practice. I am a Canadian Resident living in Scarborough, ON. I purchase some Cherry Blossoms from the Bargain Shop on Lawrence and Kennedy for stocking stuffers for Christmas. I opened one to treat myself. Thank you for the opportunity to explain the other side of the story regarding this incident. The customer claimed they received the wrong product. This is not true. The customer claimed the patina did not match what he saw on his computer monitor. We have no way to know if the customer's computer monitor was calibrated or adjusted correctly. These accusations are completely untrue. We have been in business under the same name since 1987. In this particular case, the customer's item was backordered. We informed them of this and then cancelled the order. No money was EVER TAKEN from this customer, and their credit card was NOT charged. It has been our policy for 19 years never to charge the customer's credit card until their order is processed and shipped. Our web site is most certainly not "fake", and has been in continuous operation on the web since 1994.
