Slotch.com
Fortunately came across your complaints.com while trying to find out how "slotch.com" came in to be in my header.
it is annoying since it has x-rated topics with adult related links. my children at times use this computer to send emails and this "slotch.com" is ready for viewing.
it has a click button which disguises all the other adult buttons into more wholesome topics... but it is only a disguise. i am afraid it would easily get my kids in unnecessary trouble with such things.

Tweeter's
Then, after showing the paper copy, I had to call the RI store to have them contact the CT store to verify the warranty's "Authenticity". It took 5-weeks for them to return the projector, which required a simple procedure involving the pressing of three buttons, which they would not disclose.
Then they lost the power cord and had to contact another store to get a spare power cord. When asked why it took so long, the stores mngr replied warranties were last priority to paying repair customers.
After going through thi... read full review »

Hostreflex.com
Over the past 6 months Hostreflex.com has been charging our account for services that we cancelled in May of 2004. Prior to that, Hostreflex.com had charged our account for services not rendered including an SSL that they lost during one of the many system crashes.
We have begun the process of filing complaints, charges and a small claims file with New Jersey and California. They have repeatedly told us that they will stop charging us but cannot refund money. They charged us again for services yesterday.

Tony Pinzine Construction
Tony Pinzine telephone is: 847-809-4968, address is: 1223 PraireBrook, Palatine, IL. I would like to get my deposit back and I would like Homeowners Connections to fix their false advertisement. Hoover SteamVac
From my local Best Buy in July of 2008. The first time I used it, I was amazed at how well it cleaned! The carpets in my rented home never looked so good, not even when we first moved in. The machine also left the carpets much dryer than previous cleaners. The second time I tried to use the machine, the handle of the clean water tank just came off. The tank dropped to the floor and cracked. I exchanged it for a new one. Used it once and the clean water tank leaked. Returned for another exchange and contacted Hoover when that one leaked a... read full review »

Celebrity Cruises
Our cruise was in June of 04 from Anchorage, Alaska to Vancouver, British Columbia. My major complaint is that over $3000.00 worth of jewelry was stolen from my cabin.

I am 99% sure this theft was commited by a member of the staff assigned to our deck. I was not aware the jewelry was missing until I got home and proceeded to unpack. I firmly believe it happened on the last night of the cruise while we were out having dinner and attending the show.
When I reported this to Celebrity... read full review »
iPayment.com
I am about to permanently dump iPayment and 1st National Processing because of poor customer service regarding chargebacks and risk management. They are holding $1367 of my batch funds with no interest for 2 months and they did so without bothering to inform me. When I inquired I found their reasons were bogus and faulty and they still have not bothered to apologize.
I also have lost $600 because of 1st National's inability to deal with a bogus chargeback which the customer told his bank he was no longer contesting. Therefore as far as I'm concerned iPayment and 1st National has stolen $2000 from me. read full review »
Adelphia Cable Internet
I live in a basement apartment. My landlords live upstairs and supply cable tv for the whole house. When I explained to Adelphia that I wanted cable internet connection they said it was no problem to send out two separate bills. Mine consisting of 29.95 for internet only. I got the bill yesterday and it was almost $50 and cable tv charges were on it, so was my name and my landlords name. They never separated the bill. Since yesterday I have spent hours on the phone with customer service getting only rude customer service reps and even one... read full review »
U.S. Robotics
We recieved a faulty network card from U.s. Robotics. We have spent the last several months trying to resolve the problem. We are unable to speak to anyone other than the supervisor, "Art", who just can't help us.

Pop Eye Chicken
I went into Pop Eye Chicken located on Rivers Ave Charleston SC, a couple days ago. The place was filthy. I saw the cooking area, rice and other food was scatterd all over the floor and on the shellf it was nasty.

Albertson's Grocery
They have a 120 volt current carrying power cord duct taped to the floor to power a display near the customer service area.
As a former electrician I say with all certainty that this violates at least one section of the National Electrical Code... and is a very dangerous hazard for customers and employees alike as it is in an area of major traffic. People can trip on the cord and grocery carts roll across it.
I have mentioned it to employees and management but they will do nothing about it.
I have called the local Electrical... read full review »

Starchoice
Two weeks before we moved to our new home I phoned Starchoice to arrange for our service to be cancelled. The Customer Service Rep told me that our final bill needed to be paid in full. I provided her with our new address and immediately following our conversation, I paid the bill online.
Once we moved, I subscribed to Rogers Cable and had it installed. Months later, my husband went to our previous address to pick up old mail. We found a bill from Starchoice for over $200.00. We phoned Starchoice to correct the situation, but were told... read full review »

Regarding the complaint against my wife's company www.TheInvitationShoppe.com, the customer failed to mention that the reason she did not receive the 60 cards for $33 that she ordered, was that the manufacturer had discontinued production of the item she chose. Additionally, no charge was placed against her credit card, as the order could not be fulfilled. Thank you,

I like everyone else who reported this website ordered magazine subscriptions. I should have realized that the price was too good to be true. I have even appealed to my credit card company to no avail. This was a hard and expensive lesson learned. I thought I had done my homework but obviously I did a poor job on that.

Chem-Dry
I must agree with virtually all of the negative comments left on this site by 'disgruntled' former Chem-Dry franchisees. That Chem-Dry's spokesmen would choose to (feebly) answer all of the complaints lodged here by former franchisees by trying to marginalize them by labeling them in such a way pretty much sums up their attitude: Arrogant.

Square Enix Play Online
My credit card company called me to verify two charges by Square Enix, Play Online. The first charge for $1, then one for $27. I have never heard of this site, nor have I ever visited this site.

As for Square Enix, I have no idea how they got my info or... read full review »
