A warning to anyone using Canterbury Termite and Pest Control or any company that requires access to your home by the landlord because they cannot give you a time (other than a 4-5 hr span) when they will arrive. He wanted to come on a Wednesday because he was going to be in the area, but we explained we wouldn't be home that day due to our work schedule. He then set up an appointment with us for a Friday. Had appointment for our 2 sons 4 & 7 to get Christmas pictures. They didn't try to get them to smile nicely. Props were limited - only 4 of them. Son had to hold up snowman's head due to poor shape of it. IBiz website company was hired by my company to build a web site. Included in the deal was the set up of a local listing for my companies services. I was told the web site would take 2 weeks to set up. It took over 4 weeks and all they did was cut and paste info from a very unsophisticated site I had built myself from a template. We bought a new set of kitchen appliances from Sears on June 7, 2009. The oven worked for 2 weeks and then went dead. Management is extremely unprofessional. One of the owners is always intoxicated and being rude to customers and employees. He treats everybody like he owns them. The other owner and one of the assisitant managers is always telling everybody's business. If an employee messes up or calls out, they feel that they have to tell EVERY other employee. I found a charge for $14.95 on my November 2009 AT&T personal telephone bill that I had not authorized or utilized. I was able to verify that a similar charge was made to my account in October 2009. Ordered my coin set over phone after watching TV ad; was notified by email of a 'delay' (2 to 3 wks) in shipping due to stock shortage of wooden cases for same. It is now 6 weeks later and several attempts to contact customer service have failed. The order taking number is ALWAYS open, the customer service number is ALWAYS a dead end! My daughter called me, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, call collect from Akron/Canton airport and then from Cleveland, Ohio. I was not informed how much I would be paying per minute nor did the phone where she made the call state the cost. Neither was I informed of the location and that it was an international call. CTM Tiles at Cannon Hill sold me 90 square metres of "porcelain" tiles that have been drawn on with permanent marker on the sides. I paid for 1st quality tiles and was sold 2nd quality - apart from the pen there are visible bubbles, marks and defects on most tiles. Our tilers laid most of the tiles thinking that I had bought 2nds. I came home to see visible permanent marker even above the grout and on the tops of tiles. I contracted with this flower shop in the Bay Street mall in Emeryville to do my wedding and the guy, David Guevara, was a total flake. He lied about having a degree in horticulture, I checked the college he claimed to have attended. And he makes up these stories about he was this ballet dancer with the SF BAllet, but they never heard of him. Later, I also heard he never even graduated from high school because he was in jail for car theft. He never came through on my wedding and put me in a total bind.
