There are multiple issues. First, approximately 2 1/2 to 3 years ago, I was remodeling a trailer for this contractor and he became involved in a dispute with the owner. The contractor asked if I would wait for my pay until the issue was resolved in court. I had 6 specialty windows (3 panes of glass) installed in March of 2008. I am still trying to get the two that aren't made right replaced. I ordered 50 lbs of live rock for my saltwater tank from Just Live Rock. I had been told by the company that shipment by FedEx would take 3 days. I purchased an internet key for my laptop computer which, I was assured by the salesperson, would work in Spain and Italy where I planned on holidaying, as well as in France where I am temporarily living. I bought a ceramcor xtrema frying pan from Mercola.com last July. Last month I was putting it in the sink and it broke into three pieces. This does not work for me. It cost $149 and for that much money it has to stand up to daily use. Mercola.com refused me a refund. It is not warranteed for breakage unless it has something to do with extreme heat or cold. Ridiculous!!! This company is such a scam!!! Actually sent me a bill for the technician they sent out!!! Here's how it goes. Their site would not allow me to request a refund within the period required. The only way I found to request a refund was by submitting a "help desk form". However, the form is never responded too nor do I believe it goes anywhere unless the refund period is over. At least that is what happend to me. The contact us on their website does not go anywhere or provide any contact information. It appears to be set up to guarantee that you cannot request a refund and that you will have no proof for your credit card company that you tried to request a refund in the available time. We had a new garage door (with windows) installed several months ago. Installation we smooth and door works fine. We did notice that one of the inside window frames was scored and asked for a replacement. Two months into that request, we are getting the runaround. All appointments have been postponed for various reasons (warehouse not open, manufacturer has not sent the part, etc, ...)
