On August 2, 2008 a wind storm caused a tree limb to fall into my garage. My insurace company sent out an adjuster and filed the claim and sent out a check for payment to repair. Our dream turned into a nightmare with Janks Construction. After two years in arbitration, which we won, we learned that Janks used an illegal contract, took a much bigger deposit than allowed by law, used unlicensed sub contractors, breached the illegal contract, and did work that in multiple areas failed to meet building codes. In September I looked in my mailbox to find a receipt for oil delivery, a delivery I never authorized. WhenI talked to the staff they told me they only took clients that were automatic delivery. We called Southwest Plumbing to fix a leak in our house, leaking downstairs into our laundry room Friday night. They scheduled an appointment for us Sat at 8AM. They arrived around 9:15 AM. Purchased home in July '08. Was told 76 gallons of propane in the tank was included in this sale. Suburban filled this tank in August, 2008, 33 gallons. We had our pool installed in 2005. I agree. The Big push, their financing was almost instant, getting pool put in, was not. Although we didn't have to wait years. We signed in May, the pool was finished the 1st part of October. Of course we couldn't use it until the next year. I was having a heat check on 10/14/08 and was told I needed a new furnace and a/c unit for a cost of $5100. I asked why I would need a new a/c and was told it was all part of the unit. Sleezy company, overcharged my friend that called them to drain the a pipe 30 ft long, took less then 25 min. and was charged $462.00. They est. my bill for a long time by over 200 units. Now they say we owe them a deposit. I have never been late in three years. They adjusted the bill and keeping what they owe me for deposit. I paid one 3 years ago. When I asked to speak to their supervisor they refused.I've read the same complaint from other people. Instead of crediting the over estimate they keep it for a deposit .
