I have had Gexa for the past 2 years. My bills have always bounced between $135 and $190 every month. Not bad. For whatever reason, the last 2 months have been over $330!! ! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I called NSI, the provider of our extended warranty on our Frigidaire washer, due to the drum banging around. This was on Oct.12. The first repair company did not come out until Oct. 20. He said he needed to order parts and would return in a week. The next day NSI calls and says the repair company could not diagnose the problem and they needed to send the repair to another shop, A&E repair. I bought a new Maytag gas range with dual ovens in 2004. It workedfine until this year. In June the broiler stopped working. I had purchased an extended warranty through Maytag Dependability Plus so I called for service. It took a day for the assigned service technician to call me. Once he was able to come out and check out the problem he told me that the mother board was bad and would have to be replaced. I have been trying to get my gas turned on in my new residence for 2 weeks first they told me there was an investigatin because meter was romoved because of last tenet. I have THREE Ativa CX10W shredders and two of them are nothing more than JUNK. I would not recommend this brand to anyone or any business. We spend more time unclogging them than shredding. After about 10 pages at two at a time, it overheats, clogs up and quits. Never again will I purchase any Ativa products!! read full review »

I HATE this microwave! We purchased it 4/05 and it has not gone a single year without a repair. After the warranty expired, we bought insurance every year! The most recent breakdown was 9/29/08 and it had to be taken to the shop. We got it back 2 weeks later and it worked for 8 days. We've had magnetrons, inverters, circuit boards--you name it--replaced. Including this latest repair, insurance has paid out $1600+. Better them than me! After purchasing a compact fridge for college on 8/9/08 we found that the freezer door was broken when moving in. I moved in on the 24 and I called after that weekend to get it fixed. My husband and I just purchased a Viking Refrigerator from Pacificsales in Irvine. We were told it was a "floor model". Upon deliver we discovered that wasn't the true case. It was so badly damaged that our Viking Executive Appliance Repair service would not even touch it. We were given an extensive report of all the damages. A Goodmans GDB6 Freeview DTV Receiver review - I bought this unit to replace an ALBA Freeview box which suffered tuner failure, so was not pleased when the Goodmans unit failed with the same problem at just over 1 year old. When I complained to Goodmans, I discovered that they are really Alba Radio Ltd. The moral of this story is DON'T BUY anything made by Alba Radio, even if it is badged Goodmans. I have yet to find a dishwasher sales person in Comet - from whence I bought this piece of rubbish- who knows what a 12 place setting comprises let alone what size a "dinner" plate should be. My G.E. over-the-range microwave stopped heating (still had power) Sept. 28th. We called Lowe's where we bought the microwave less than 4 months prior, and they instructed to contact A&E for service repairs under the manufacturer's warranty. This company is TERRIBLE. I have dealt with them twice now in regards to delivering mulch and other bulk materials (rock, barkdust) and I'm absolutely sure I will never use them again. They are rude on the phone when taking orders from customers. Their system of not being able to give you a window of delivery time (they say "we'll deliver tomorrow, or Tues, as opposed to tomorrow morning between 9am and 11am.) is very compromised. Reported the noise to Beko after 4 months. The bolts have sheared off hence the concrete falling out, and I am being told this machine is repairable. I bought an Indesit washing machine many years ago which lasted me over ten years. I don't think Indesit are building them to last for very long any more! If you intend on buying a brand new washing machine every year then this one is just fine. I wouldn't recommend this washing machine to anyone. It lasted a year then that was it. Towards the end (of twelve months) it just didn't do a good enough job that I would expect a washing machine to do. I won't be buying Indesit products again. read full review »

If you like spending hours on the phone trying to contact a customer service department to no avail. You like paying over the odds for a extremely noisy washing machine that takes twice as long as it says it will take to complete a wash program. You really look forward to the utter indifference of the visiting repair engineers (you will see many!). You appreciate poorly finished, shoddy goods then any SERVIS washing machine should fulfill your dream! My advice, sit down and tear up £20 notes... it's more fun! read full review »

I am now faced with having to purchase a new washing machine as my Beko WMA520S balance weight has fallen off after the bolts holding it sheared off. What happened? The Drum separated from back housing rendering the LG Dryer completely useless. The service tech said LG should cover since this was a defective design. LG refuses to cover since it's older than 1 year. History: Purchased a 'premium' LG Dryer. 4 months after purchasing there was a problem with the dryer. Berkline Recliners are the worst. My recliner that I have only had for 2 years fell apart. The wood fram for the seat broke apart. All the joints where they glue it together are weakening to the point that the chair wobbles and the reclining mechanism will not close. Berkline's only solution for me is to pay their repairman to come to my house. This is only to see what is wrong not to fix anything. This company was hired to do a building addition for a Church in Kansas City, Ks. He was paid several thousands of dollars from the Church fund but then refused to pay at least 3 of the subcontractors hired by him in this construction. Owned by Paul W. Russell of Overland Park or Leawood, Ks. This apparently is not the only construction job that he has ripped off people!!! I have lived with my husband in our mobile home for 14 yrs. I have been seriously ill for about 12 of those years, so my husband did the bills, which is not his strong suit. And he doesn't keep receipts or copies of bills. In 2005 when I took the bills back over, I noticed a balance even though we were paying all our equal monthly payments. I contracted with ABKA to cut and install granite countertops in my kitchen. They broke several pieces of granite with their carelessness, damaged my cabinets and dishwasher and tried to subsitute a cheaper sink for the one I had provided. Salesman took our $1000 deposit on 7/11/08. Chk was cashed 7/22. Work was supposed to be done on 8/4. Roofing supplies were delivered on 8/1. Dumpster was delivered on 8/4. Job was then rescheduled for 8/12 and dumpster was removed, empty, on 8/6. On 8/12, when no one showed up, we discovered that Gandy had closed their doors. SAI is the worst company that I have EVER dealt with! Their Customer support (or lack there of) is paramount to fraudulent! If you ever need to contact them with an issue you can expect between a 35-75 minute phone call and you will NOT get anywhere with it. When you ask to speak to a supervisor or manager they tell you that they do not have one. When you finally convince them that you want to speak to someone higher up, they send you to a voice mail and no one ever calls you back.
