Attempted to cancel my service with Castle rock Security and was told that I needed to write them a letter 30 days before my contract cancelled. They told me that they had mailed me a letter out 60 days prior, but according to the card is was mailed out on 12/18/09 and my contract ended 1/30/09. I had palpatations when my insurance company told me who the contractor was that they were sending out to investigate my Central Heating system failure. Used flimsy device just once to try to clear slight plumbing problem (slow drainage). After inserting flimsy snake into drain rotating it, tried to remove the snake, it got stuck about half-way the length of the snake, so pulled a little, it came apart First the red end, then the tip. Blizzard Fence company came to give us an estimate. I thought their price was a little high, so the salesman offers a$500 Grocery Rebate. We were sceptical, but came to an agreement. The fence was installed and the paperwork followed. Plus there was a $9.95 registration fee which was supposed to be returned with the first rebate. Well No Rebates were received and the owner refuses to make any kind of restitution. He says "well you'll just have to take me to court". (nice guy huh?) I wish I had checked on this company before I hired them. By the way they are now known as NU Kitchen Cabinets and Floors, same company, different name. I bought an Element 40" TV (model#40LE45Q) from Sears on black friday after Thankgiving 2009. Its January 27 2010 and the screen wont turn on. I only replaced my dishwasher because it was noisy ~ it worked fine. I replaced it with the Frigidaire 4000 Series with AquaSurge.. supposed to be quiet. HA!!
