IN 1998 we had our roof redone with shingles by BP Canada. The work was done by a licensed roofing contractor here in Connecticut. Twelve years later we noticed the shingles had begun to crack and peel. We spoke to the roofing contractor who installed the shingles. You've probably heard their add on the radio. I hired them for a repipe. They did not complete the work in contract. They did not do work to code and they stole and damaged property. The steam shower and garden tub seemed like a great idea for our new home. WRONG! The unit came in 500 pieces and the directions were completely useless. There was no real wiring diagram (my unit has shorts that cannot be located so we are unable to plug it in! No help from the company and they do not respond to emails.) The compressors by Rigid are poor quality and the Home Depot has no means to service any problem. I went through 4 gas powered compressors in one year. 2 were under replacement and the other two were repaired at my own cost. Rigid portable twin tank models are complete junk. 6 units failed in a 18 month period. I purchased the Hampton Bay 10 pack pagoda 3 tier aluminum walk light model #982 888 less than 1 year ago. We started having problems almost immediately and that should have been a clue to return them to Loews where they were purchased. Now almost a year later and more than half of the units are inoperable, and no response from Hampton Bay, we feel STUCK with the JUNK! He is completely unorganized, does not take care of your property (scratches floors, etc.), and is completely unreliable. My home burned to the ground along with everything I owned. I had a security and fire early warning monitoring system which was supposed to alert you of fire and also report fire to fire department.
