In February I booked a trip to the Bahamas through Gloria Holmgren. Aetna makes it incredibly hard to submit any claim, and seems to have an automatic rejection policy for FSA claims. We have filled out every form there is and make sure that we double dot and cross every letter. But still the claim comes back with some nit pick. Luckily we were able to find a group of people who have had the same experience, and are initiating a class action. They have also pushed us into online ordering for meds, in which they charge us more than our local grocery store. I ordered an HP 8250 scanner and software. I told them I had an OS of Vista and they assured me it would work. I paid $240.00 on 10/16/2008. When I installed the scanner it did not work. I called them & e-mailed them they finally told me to return the unit and they would repay my cost. I shipped the unit back to them and they only paid me $160.65 back. Horrible customer service. Danner gave them a credit so that they would give me a refund, and they refused. I talked to an extremely rude man who told me that he would charge me 50% to "restock". Not only was he extremely rude/uncooperative/loud, HE WAS THE OWNER. I asked to speak to someone who could speak to me more nicely, he told me no one else could help me, he was the owner. How do I effectively fight an unfair collections claim? I have tried numerous times to cancel XM Radio. I have been using their service since 2005. I always renewed my yearly contract. Unfortunately, I must add my review to the long list of complaints against Trevor Augustyn and Hawthorne Kitchens. The work that his trades did on my kitchen and bathroom in late 2009 was of good quality however Trevor was unable to keep the skilled trades in his employ and Hawthorne never finished the job. Their claim of payout in every 15 days never works. Their phone numbers are hardly manned. They never reply to your emails. Their payouts have a big problem getting into your bank accounts. Their payout calculations are most of the times lesser than what you must actually get. People investing into this are going to loose money if they dont fix all of this. I went to Spain for 5 days to the Malaga region. I stayed in a hotel known as Sol Melia (or simply Melia) and it was a very bad experience. First, service at the Melia hotel was very bad. Second, the installations, in general, were pretty worn out. And third, when checking out, they had the wrong sum at the bill (of course in their favor!) and after a lot of arguing I still had to pay for an extra night I did not reserve. Stay away from Melia.
