Secure Horizons
January 15, 2008
I have been receiving calls daily since around 12-15-2007. I have called Secure Horizons on three occasions to get them to stop the calls to my cell phone. I have been told it takes six to eight weeks to process my request, which is absurd. I was told it was because of the size of their database. My cell is in the national 'do not call' list and Secure Horizons has been advised of this all three times I contacted them. I have even e-mailed their corporate headquarters in Minneapolis, MN to no avail. I have filed a complaint... read full review »

National Tire & Battery
November 10, 2007
On Saturday, November 10, 2007, I took my car to NTB for an oil change. I had a coupon that stated $12.95 for the oil change. I was quoted a price of $19.95. I asked why was the price $7.00 above the coupon price and was asked what would you like to pay. I said "don't play games with me". I walked out, because I feel they are not honest people and I will not do business with them again. I have purchased tires and other parts for my cars at this location (Store # 591, Deptford, NJ) and found they always have additions (Shop fess, and fees they fell they can get away with it) to the quote. read full review »

Longhorn Steakhouse
TNatural1 November 16, 2009
Me & 3 friends visited your restaurant in Pineville, NC on Saturday November 14, 2009 at 8:45pm. My meal was not good. The filet was dry and chewy. I didn't know that was possible. The steaks were very thin. The food just was not good. Also, our server was rushing us to leave! She asked twice if she could clear away dishes while we were still eating...literally chewing our food! Then offered us dessert while still eating. She even brought us the check while we were still eating our food. As we were leaving, I asked the hostess for a... read full review »

I had a credit card from this company and had to undergo a very bad experience. They do not bother to make you a call to let you know of your missed payments or any other reminders and then charge you for the same. Its a personal experience and I would not suggest any one to go for this card. read full review »

father died a little over one month ago. I am my mother's only child and her only support system. She is living alone about 2000 miles away. Try as I might, I was not able to travel to her home to spend Mother's Day with her. Thus, this Mother's Day my mom would not only be grieving the loss of her husband but be spending the day alone. I decided to try to cheer her up a bit and send her a bouquet of flowers. I ordered the flowers on the Tuesday before Mother's Day and requested that the flowers be delivered on... read full review »

The Hartford
December 8, 2006
I work at Walmart Supercenter in Cambridge OH. I too have been calling the Hartford everyday asking where is my money. My doctor had put me on medical leave from 8/23/06 until 01/08/07 they have denied me twice now, stating I have not been disabled beyond my waiting period. I have had a time with these people too and I still haven't received my money. I am a kind of person that does not quit. So they better watch out and pay me my money. read full review »

Wyndham Rewards
dwigg October 1, 2009
I stayed one night at this substandard Super 8 motel on Sept 15, 1909. I just saw it and checked in. I gave them my Wyndham Rewards number and the clerk said nothing about any special rate or non qualifying rate and that the stay would be honored. There was a charge of $71.27 on my Amex card which is more than it was worth. When I inquired at customer service for Wyndham Rewards about no points they said it was a low non qualifying rate and not eligible for reward points. They supposedly checked with the motel and said I could call the... read full review »

The worst company I have every dealt with. A scam. I ordered some cartridges, I paid and they were supposedly shipped immediately... A month later and they are still not here. I left two e-mails and just got form mail back. I called and got put on hold, finally talked to someone and they couldn't give me a tracking number, said it shipped without one! Oh yea, they sold my email to a spam company too. read full review »

Golden Meadows
Emily D May 24, 2011
I was searching for the perfect puppy for my retiring parents when i came along the golden meadows website. I thought, the dogs have to be perfect if you are paying $4000-$10000 for it! I never did actually purchase a puppy from them and that was thanks to one of their present employers, whose name will not be announced, who gave me a lot of details on how this facility works. Not only are they illegally selling their dogs, but they are selling you the wrong dog! She had told me that Barbie and Tim will let you select the puppy you want, and... read full review »

Buyers and potential buyers please be alerted! I purchased a Knoll Tulip marble table end of Jan 2009 for more than Euro 5, 490+ from this German retailer Ambientedirect.com. and it said it took 4 to 6 week to arrive. After continuous tracing, it said the marble top was broken so it would have to re-order. 3 months have passed and when I finally finished renovation and moved into my new flat, nothing has happened. In May after frequent phones and email tracing, finally it arrived on May 25th, which was 5 good months after I placed the order... read full review »

I sent my friend $180.00. He lives in Brazil and after waiting for the check for 2 months, he finally received it only to learn that he could not cash it anywhere in Brazil. Why would paypal send him a check he could not cash? They knew it! My friend even tried cashing it at a Citibank and could not. I placed an ad on Zillow on March 12, 2011 to sell my lot. I paid $ 39.95 for the ad to run for 180 days. A few days after I checked the site. I could only find my ad if I typed in the exact address of the lot. It was not on any of the 10 pages which listed homes and lots in Sebring. I also checked 'lots/land' not listed there either. When I e-mailed Zillow I was told that my lot was contained in the map at the top of the page. A few days later I checked again and found my lot. The only good thing about this company is that they pay for the shipping. I sold several books and shipped them to moola4books.com. It took a month for them to process the sale on their end, now I am still waiting to be paid for the books that I have sold. I had contacted their customer service by e-mail and was told that sale orders usually took 15 days to completely process, but that it might take a bit longer because of them being busy. It has now been a month and a half. I will never use this company again, and do not recommend that anyone else does either. read full review »

Hound.com offers a 7-day free trial and then bills you for the first month at $39.95. But the catch is you have to call to cancel the trial and you can only do it during California business hours. Today - Monday - I called them in the morning to cancel the trial I initiated last Monday afternoon and they said I had already been billed for the first month and they wouldn't reverse the charge. Even though less than seven days had elapsed, they said this was the eighth day of the trial and would not reverse the charge. Their attitude was that I should have read the fine print. read full review »

Beautifulpeople.com
Sdraven October 21, 2010
I heard about the site and applied, I was accepted. So I'm not sour over not getting in. But I do feel like the site could have some better qualities. The interface isn't very "beautiful" and the site always runs slow. It's hard to connect with other members in comparison to the ease of connection you get with a site like facebook. When I want to invite people to an event, it's much harder then it would be on facebook. All in all, beautifulpeople.com has a cold feeling to it and I would prefer a regular dating site/networking site over it any day. read full review »

Heartland America
September 7, 2007
Heartland America www.heartlandamerica.com Heartland America (www.heartlandamerica.com) advertises on its website that some products come with a rebate. When you get the rebate form, you find out that it's not a cash refund (which is the most common type of rebate), but is actually a discount coupon on your next purchase from Heartland America. PLUS, this so-called rebate is only good for about a month. To us, the advertising of this sort of rebate was false advertising. BEWARE!!! read full review »

WageWorks for two years in a row has received a faxed claim from me on 3/31 but claimed it was illegible. 3/31 is the last date you can submit a claim from the previous year. So, they wait a month and then send a letter saying that the claim was illegible, and to re-send it. So, I immediately re-send, but then, of course, they say that the claim is too late. Thus, I lose out on MY money, I guess perhaps because they are too lazy to process claims, which they are in business to do. read full review »
