I have recently downloaded various web-based programs. When trying to submit simple questions, I was redirected to different "help" areas. Not only has this process presented difficulties in submitting questions, I have been forced to read a glut of useless information. Anyone who has a life does not have unlimited time to read every fact about every website. I have also not received answers or acknowledgments to my questions. Because most web browsing takes place early morning, evenings and weekends, there should be some way to at least acknowledge receipt of a question. read full review »

Buyer Beware! Office Depot's Lightscribe DVD external drive sold under the Ativa label has no warranty after 14 days. I didn't notice until mine quit working after 3 months. Ativa manufacturing said they couldn't help call Microsoft (sure). Office Depot said,93that's why we sell an extended warranty. Extended there's NO warranty after 14 days. I made the mistake of buying 3 Sony cameras over the past several years. Currently all three cameras no longer function regardless of their original purchase price / model. Sony's customer service's response was send them in and pay for repairs. ($177.00 minimum per unit) To date I have sent each of the camera's in at least one and the most expensive camera 3 times. Here we go again with ING Bank. My client in England insisted it had deposited a payment to my ING account... twice in fact, but nothing ever turned up in my account over a two month period. I finally discovered, after calling the bank, that ING accepts no foreign deposits . . . but they never bothered to tell me they had rejected the deposits, nor does any such information appear on their Web site. Over the past 2 months I have had Unified services call me 4 or 5 times a day everyday and it always shows up 'unknown'. I paid cash and purchased EC325 modem from Tata Indicom 10 days back. Till now there is no connection. The tata indicom dealer person says, connection cannot be given and cash cannot be given. When i contacted tata indicom people they just started finding to whom this complaint to be diverted. I went to this site and agreed to cell them my old cell phone for 78.00 which they said it was worth. I mailed in my cell phone in May 2007 and was told I would get a check in 30 days. They have my phone and almost 90 days later I have yet to get a check. My family and I picked up sandwiches from Potbelly Sandwiches at Danada Square. I used to love the food quality there. It was my favorite but it no longer is. I am very upset. I have a Maytag washer and the warranty service sent out A&E. He was not qualified and couldn't even see which fuse in the box needed flipping -- I also had to come to the basement 2 times to reset the red/black button on the outlet as he couldn't figure it out. GE ceramic top electric stove/oven Product Number AB968S0H2SS - about 3 years old. Beware: oven front is applied with double stick tape - mine fell off on my 77 year old mother's foot and smashed into 1000 pieces of class, along with the stainless body. My complaint is against Hunter Douglas and the product, before it was improved, called Vertiglide. I was building a home in 2002 - 2003 and needed to get window treatments for the 18 windows to discourage vandalism while the interior finish was being completed. Recently I purchased a vehicle from Loman Ford in Woodbridge NJ. When I test drove the car it was rush hour so I mainly sat in traffic. When I drove the car off the lot I hated it. Charter Communication is the only ISP I can use in my neighborhood and they act like it. I signed up with them in Jan '07 because they were running a "special". $100 rebate on modem to sign up for new service. It was a joke from the get go. During my stay at Park District I have come to realize that things are not always like they seem. From the first week that I moved to Park District my car was broken into and other petty belongings were taken from my vehicle. The doors to access to the building are always broken.
