ICICI BANK has resorted to frauds I am a customer of ICICI Bank. I hold a Gold credit card with ICICI. Last month due to some unplanned travels I made purchases worth Rs. 65000/- on my card. I would have paid the bills before the due date. This company withdrew $31.98 from my checking account and was not authorized to do so. I conacted my bank to try to get a phone number and address for the company. There was no address listed but there was a phone number. I have called that number at least 10 times. It seems to be an identity theft protection company. I never applied for this. When you call the phone number, youe get a recorded introduction and they transfer you but no one picks up the phone. How and what can I do to get my money back? I order internet and VOIP on the 20th of December for business internet and VOIP. A technician showed up on the 27th to install, however he said my service order address was incorrect. He stated he would return within 10 minutes. Never showed back up. I have called verizon repeated ever since and receive a different message every time. Hugesnet (formerly Direcway) implemented a 'Fair Access policy' (FAP) which does not allow for the daily download bandwidth paid for by the service plains. This is because there is a 24hour penalty after the threshold for a day is reached. If at 11:59pm I go 1 byte over the 200MB in my contract they will limit speed to below dialup speed for 24 hours after (not the 1 minute for the rest of the day or until the usage is back on track). We had lodged a complaint (Complaint number 10638083) with "Dish TV" call centre on 31st of Dec 2007 that 90 % of the channels are not available. As per their standard terms they promised that it will be attented within 4 to 24 hours but till date (4th Jan 2007) nobody has come to attend. Company promises through advertisement (in the voice of Shahrukh Khan) that they give full satisfaction to the customers. Ordered the complete Carol Burnett DVD series on 11/20/07. Was sent an email by DVD Compilations on 11/29 stating my order had shipped with Canadpost tracking # with an estimated delivery date of 12/7 or 12/10. When I bought my big screen TV from HHGregg I also purchased an extended warrenty. When I made the purchase on the TV, I was told that the TV Lamp would last about 1 year. The price of the lamp would be $200-$300. Then I was told about the extended warrenty and their quick response to any problems I would have with the TV. This gym is operating illegally. They are simply not following the rules that they have clearly stated in their contract with the members. They charged all the members a so called $25.00 "maintenance fee" without prior authorization.
