I recently applied for a PC through pcdirectbiz and told that I was approved for a specific “bundle” with a down payment of $99.00 and weekly payments of $22.00 each. They promptly debited the $99.00 and I heard absolutely nothing more for three weeks. I asked for a cancellation and a refund of my down payment. I was checking my statement and found a charge of $29.95 for an unknown membership fee that I did not authorize. I called the merchant number indicated on the bank transaction information, which further confirmed I had never heard of this company before and wonder how they got my credit card information. I would just like to file a complaint about musoticawear.com, an internet merchant. This merchant showed absolutely no sign of customer service. When I requested to return the merchandise (a halloween costume) from the company I was told that I did not have any options and that it was "my problem" that I did not have any options. I saw a ring on sale at Gordon Jeweler's at NorthPoint Mall in Alpharetta, Ga. The ring was $299 on sale for $179. The clerk told me I could take it home today if I filled out a credit 90 day same as cash form. I said no, I don't have or want credit cards. On 10-18-2008 I paid a company named Trans Universal Freight, VADUZ, LI. $34.99 for products Iordered over the internet. This was paid using my debit card. TUF said shipment of package was to be 4 to 6 weeks. As of this date I have not received a thing. Trans Universal freight is an affiliate of Free Lottos.com. My emails have gone unanswered and customer service offers no answer to the problem but to wait? The rebates were supposed to be sent six to 8 weeks after purchase and sending in of rebates. Now, four months later, there is still no rebates and a total lack of any support from Tiger Direct. I would urge anybody who considers a purchase from Tiger Direct to make sure all rebates come from Tiger and NOT the manufacturer as Tiger Direct states "We are not responsible for rebates offered from the manufacturer." They sent an aquarium that didn't have the fixture for the electric light and was paid additonal money for pregnant seahorses and didn't want to send them. Sent other sea creatures. All died right off. Which probably wasn't their fault but the are expensive and don't deal fairly. read full review »

Seven days after delivery I realized there was a chip and peeling of the furniture frame. I contacted the saleman Mr. Demitry from whom I purchased the furniture, he reply by accusing me of damaging the furniture, and I would have to pay a $25.00 delivery fee to replace the damaged item I agree to pay, which was to be delivered on November 19; 2004 upon delivery the replace part was also damaged. read full review »

I urge consumers to not use either the printer Noteworthy or celebrateinvitations.com for their printed Christmas card needs. Firstly, the printer offered a free christmas card flap, yet charged me for it. On the web site it said it would be included in the shopping cart price but taken off when the order was shipped. I had to write more than one e-mail to get this corrected, and in the end basically said I was lying but they could not prove it. My complaint is about the Vauxhall Astra LPG system in general. There is a common fault in the Autogas system and not even the reputable Hartwells (Vauxhall) garage at Sheffield could diagnose it for me. If the main agents fail then what can you do? They had my car for 9 weeks and when I got it back I had to pay a bill of 273 pounds to get it back unrepaired and still with the fault. Be advised that we recently (November, 2004) had a bad experience with Vanden Construction operating out of Hawthorn Woods, IL. Contractor's name is Paul Vanden (full last name is Vandendolder). The work involved a fireplace and additional work on our basement. At the mid-way point of the project the contractor became adversarial with simple requests for work updates, insisted on payment for work yet to be completed, and quit the job before full completion as outlined in the proposal. My husband and my teenagers decided to dine at this so called advertised "european" cuisine.When we got there, the menu was actually russian. We tried the menu, caviar, veal, duck... When we arrived home, around midnight I started feeling sick, all four of us became very ill. Nausea and diarrhea. My husband had to go to the hospital after the 3rd day still feeling ill. I have been charged $1.01 on my checking account from this company who when you call doesnt even say what the companys name is. I spoke to someone named Michelle at this number 1866-279-5581 and it turns out that this was a fee for information on how to get Government Grants! First they tell you its $1.99 and then they begin to charge you $1.01 every other week or so and I had 3 transactions before the bank contacted me. This organization is a very poor choice if you are looking for good customer service. So far AFMO has charged me $835 for magazines that I have ordered and have never receieved. I advised them to cancel when the items were backordered and my credit card was charged. I was advised that I would get a refund. The deadline has come and gone and still no refund. I have had to place a dispute with my credit card company in an attempt to get money back for an order that was canceled prior to shipment. According to other complaints, the company is located in Canada. Buyer Beware!!! This has got to be the worst vacuum on the market. I have used this item three times only!! The suction can barely pick up anything heavier than dust balls on a bare floor – The rug beater does only that – beat the rug! You have to repeatedly go over the same area in order to clean. It would be wiser to spend the money on even a basic Shop-Vac, which does a much better job than the ‘Shark’ I am lucky though, I know the manager at the Lowes store where this was purchased. read full review »
