I have tried to contact Active Publishing several times regarding a charge made to my PayPal account. I can not get a reply from Active Publishing. Recently did a trip with KE Travel and it was a disaster. It sounded cheap but you get what you pay for. This is a british firm and almost all the other clients and the staff were british. I spent a great deal of time and energy reading about sand substrate and the controversies behind it, and I wish now that I listened! I just came home from the Exotic Animal Vet and after $200+ the vet told me that my Leopard Gecko Leo had impacted sand inside of her, which is why she could not go to the bathroom, eat, move around normally, and she lost her vibrant colors. We first called Brian 12/29/09 he said he put 20 pounds of R-22 in our system and ther was no leak. By 3/16/09 the a/c was blowing hot again. He pumped a leaking system full of freon again and said he didnt thinkit would last. 3/30/09 we called him again because we had no a/c. He said he would put more freon in and would have to fix later. Car was towed in for repair, recieved damage on lot. The vehicle was accepted without looking the car over before typing up the order, he admitted on his own accord. Service manager said they were not liable because it is a public lot. Had to call 3 times to get them to check security cameras and call me back. Called the owner of Mile One and he said this is unfortanate and offered to split the repair with me. Knowing they probably double the price of repairs to the customer the only thing he offered was to not make a profit on damage they possibly caused.
