I too now have been dooped into purchasing, what I thought was a free trial of the Colon Cleanse only to find out that I too have been charged the $69.98. Only when I received mine and turned around to send it back they reduced my credit owed by $10.50 and called it a stocking fee. My company received a fax offering a Health Plan for $89.50. So last December 2008 I signed up and was charged $188.50 to start. I was recently asked by RCI Points to pay what I was told was a discounted rate for Points for one year. This amounted to about £400 for about 56, 000 points. I received a loan from them with a deduction date of Jan. 13, 2006. I faxed in my extension sheet on Jan. 10, 2006 saying I didn't have direct deposit so could they push up my loan payment date. I was looking for a personnel loan to pay medical bills. BettyAnn Clarke called and said I was approved for $7000, but since I was a high risk I needed some form of collateral. I wired $927 to her and she was to wire the money into my account the next day. The money never arrived and she will not answer phone, I found out that the phone number is a universal phone not a business. The company faxed me loan documents that seemed legal. This company is charging me over $10.00 per gallon for propane. The going rate if I take a portable tank to a nearby dealer is $2.55 per gallon. This is price gouging in my opinion! My bill from end of Dec. to end of Jan. was $610.00. Had I paid the going rate, my bill would be about $150.00. I realize that the company may need to charge more since the gas is delivered, and it is much more convenient to not have to deal with hauling propane tanks around, but four times the going price seems absurdly high to me. As a current tenant of Brookside villas aka The Park at Idlewild. I have unfortunately been a tenant of this slum. A water leak took over 1 year to fix through the course of many maintenance people. Other requests get ignored. 2 weeks would be a miracle. Kitchen is a 1970's nightmare. There is always garbage all over from the unsupervised rug-rats, over flowing dumpster and people to stupid to put it in there. In front or on the side does not count! After one year, my SONY VAIO VGN Ar52OE laptop stopped working and the hinges both broke. All under normal use...unless you consider opening and closing the 17 inch monitor abuse. Roomfull express is the worst furniture store I have ever dealt with. I purchased a livingroom suite and it was defective. The tech never showed up on the first appointment and said the sofa could not be fixed when he did come. No call back on the findings. I had to contact them. Cablevision upgraded me to their IO Digital Cable Service in July 2005. They came and replaced my analog set-top box with a digital box. I did not check my bills closely enough for the following six months, until I noticed in January 2006 that they were actually billing me for two set-top boxes. A minor expense, but still an additional $5 per month for the phantom box. This is the second time I've had this kind of trouble with Cablevision. Last time they tried to upsell me something, the sales person offered me free bundled HBO permanently. Turns out it was only free for one month. Miguel Quian refuses to pay back monies owed to employees that he required the employees to make company purchases with there own credit cards. Ex. We were told to buy the roofing material for the daily use by the company and that we would be reimbursed for said purchases. We summited the receipts to Mr. Quian and he has refused to pay us back. he continually says that he has submitted the bills for payment but now he does not return a phone call or e-mail. I bought the Stauer compass '33 watch 10 months ago. The 24 hour dial fell off and jammed the watch. It keeps the second hand locked up. These people call on home and cell phones. I don't know how they get cell phone numbers because no one has mine other than close family and now Warranty Solutions has it somehow. They call with a recorded message that says this is the final notice concerning your auto extended warranty. I have received in the last two months about 60 final notices by phone.
